My 12 year old son downloaded a Fox News app on his XBox about an hour ago (as of this post)
I didn't know this til I caught him watching this trash. I know I blocked Fox News on all the cable boxes and all and I asked him where it came from and he showed me that it was a free download on his XBox. So I took his Xbox away from him, and told him flat out that this is something he is not allowed to watch. Should I just keep the Xbox for a couple months or should I ground him? Just a lil confused on what to do about it.

The first thing you should do is learn to mole better than this. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10023932891#post18)

Poofed already.

You can download FOX's "Family Guy" and some other stuff off of FOX Now Xbox.

5. Why not watch with him and point out the loaded language, the distortions,

and the outright lies that Pox specializes in? Why not explore with him just why he finds it so attractive, it's meant for paunchy, bitter old white men who are having a tough time dealing with retirement.

Chances are he's watching for the jiggly bottle blondes and whoosh noises.

I prefer ruining things for kids over banning them outright. It's how I was brought up, anyway.

Probably prefers to ruin things for full grown men too--like sex.

Then when the kid finds out you lied, then what happens.  DUmbass.

He should have hidden it in the ceiling.

Moled poorly, Francois did. Granite, he obtained.

I am much, much more subtle than that, fellow mountaineer.

Only reason why I have said anything about it now is I want the dummies in general, and Skinner in particular, to try to figure out who my moles, plural, are.

If they can.

I walk among the primitives and they know not what I do.  Been doing it for a long, long time. Long before I ever discovered CU or this place.

Stay well my friend.   :cheersmate:

It is also deleted. Sounds like a mole alright. I wonder whose mole it is.

Love that take off of Carlos Danger, I LMAO after seeing that.  Gotta be more subtle.  Because there are those amongst the DUngheap that DUches think they are the best posters, even back then.  Maybe people like Stinky The Dude, Taverner, and others could be one of us.  Tee hee!!!

Well then it's no wonder your screen name is Warpy.

As a long standing moler myself, it took a couple tries before I adapted.  Must be a first timer.

It's not a bad thing to let the MIRT win from time to time.  Even if it's a suicide run.  Keeps their spirits up and they actually think they are winning at "Whack a Mole".   :-)

 :lmao:  Francois Jeopardy!

And a terrible bouncy, too.  Better luck next time.  It's a very tricky proposition, to craft a bouncy when you're a mole.  Few people can do it.
