Does anyone think 4 years of Obama boot sucking liberal Christie would be good for the country? Apparently the straw poll for new Hampshire presidential 2016 shows Christie with a narrow lead. Get this republican establishment fool me once McCain shame on you, fool me twice Romney shame on me. Give me another @#$$$$% liberal and I will vote third party so everyone knows that you COULD have won. Christie and the ilk of him are much worse than a democrat as president because they pretend to be different moving the entire country either left in the case of Christie or far left in the case of Hillary. The only way to move right is to show the absolute devastation that a democrat brings and continue preaching it at every instance possible. I do not want a Christie democrat disguised as a repub or conservative.

I really hope the GOP is smart this time. And gives us a real conservative that can win and stand up to these people. I know I am asking to much. :banghead:
-
Given his stand on guns and the fact he is a total asshole, I could not pull the lever for him if he were to be the nominee. In fact, if it were him or Manchin, I'd definitely be voting for the "D."
-
In a way, it would be pretty interesting to see him run. Anytime anyone runs on the conservative ticket, the left goes on an all out campaign to gut them and then hounds that nominee long after the show is over. Wonder what the turd would think of his lib buddies then.
-
Rush is convinced Christie will run as a 'rat in 2016. Would be kinda fun seeing Hillary have to compete for her coronation.
Further Rush says Hillary is not a sure thing. After all, 2008 was to be her coronation and a relative unknown beat her out.

As many on our side keep saying Cruz and the Tea Party doesn't have a chance, so we better stick to RINOs it just might work this time.

Shhh,,,,, McLame never caught on.

Yeah that's the ticket.
-
As much as I hate to admit it, the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primaries have served to do one thing over the past 20-plus years--weed out and sap the momentum of the conservative candidates and give the mushy-middle RINOs the upper hand going into SC/FLA/MI/etc.
Frankly, the fact Christie leads up here shouldn't surprise anyone. There hasn't been a "solid" conservative to win NH since Reagan in 1980.

Actually my hope is that the people will just flat out ignore the RINO's and the establishment types like we did in 2010 and put Cruz on the ticket.
The GOP is becoming like the Dems...they go after what frightens them the most and for both it's a Conservative candidate backed by the TEA Party.

Well, they certainly have something to be frightened of. The RINO's have been in the game for a very long time and have been very comfortable all the while. Why should they care for conservative citizens when they know that they'll still be getting theirs no matter what? Now comes along conservatives like Cruz who pose a risk at upsetting their gravy trains so they start firing on them instead of the liberal lawmakers who are gleefully wrecking the nation.

Dr. Ben Carson is playing with the idea of running.

Roll this around in the ole cranium for a spell: If you can't win in IOWA and NEW HAMPSHIRE what chance do you stand of winning the whole thing?
I must admit it is so easy to game both states but lets face it if you can be rolled here what chance do you stand elsewhere? Sad but true. Should we tighten up the primary process here and the voter ID system? Absolutely. The only nice thing about NH is that you can get to meet a whole bunch of candidates if you want.

Yes. The modified open primary here sucks. Time to make it a closed primary.
And we've seen what people who win in NH and Iowa do in the general election. Zip point shit. Remember, since 1988, we've had:
1988--George H.W. Bush (Dole 2nd.)
1996--Pat Buchanan (Dole 2nd.) Between the two of them they barely got 50 percent of the vote.
2000--McCain (Bush lost by nearly 20 points.)
2008--McCain (Romney 2nd.)
2012--Romney (Paul 2nd, who also finished 2nd in the Democrat primary.)
Now while I'll grant you this has almost as much to do with the crappy choice of candidates as it does with the almost Libertarian makeup of this state. I still believe that there should be a "rotation" of primaries so that ALL states are important in different election cycles. Imagine if a solid conservative candidate gains some traction in a "first in the nation" Oklahoma, Utah, Wyoming, etc, primary, and so forth.

I wonder if Joe Biden or even Michelle Obama will run in 2016.

I would love for Biden to run.
I would hate for Michelle to run because we all know she would probably win.

While the press would fall all over themselves to French-kiss her ass, I don't see Black male voters turning out nearly as heavily for her as they did for her hubby. If she were just crazy as a shithouse rat (Like all of the D Black Congresswomen I can think of) she'd have a chance, but I think she's way too much of a castrating bitch for them to turn out big time for her.
