RIP America (http://cnsnews.com/news/article/terence-p-jeffrey/census-bureau-means-tested-govt-benefit-recipients-outnumber-full)
An Excerpt:
(CNSNews.com) - Americans who were recipients of means-tested government benefits in 2011 outnumbered year-round full-time workers, according to data released this month by the Census Bureau. They also out-numbered the total population of the Philippines.
There were 108,592,000 people in the United States in the fourth quarter of 2011 who were recipients of one or more means-tested government benefit programs, the Census Bureau said in data released this week. Meanwhile, according to the Census Bureau, there were 101,716,000 people who worked full-time year round in 2011. That included both private-sector and government workers.
That means there were about 1.07 people getting some form of means-tested government benefit for every 1 person working full-time year round.
Well the dems finally did it. They finally succeeded in destroying America. All that is left is waiting for the running out of money and for the parasites to go on a rampage.
Sad. :bawl: :bawl:

I have been talking about this for the past ten years or more. I have a few long post on here about it. We all knew it was coming and now it has. Goodbye America!!!
I have asked the question to so many liberals in the past. What happens when there are more people taking than there are making and they just stare at you with a blank look on their face or I have been told that will never happen... Really??? Well all you have to do is look at a graph of the income earners vs. the leeches and notice the upward climb in leeches and decline in earners. It isn't ****ing rocket science. How any liberal can look at the numbers and not see the writing on the wall is IMO an outright lie.
It's not charity or compassion when there is no one else to give (have it taken). When you have more money leaving your hands than is coming in and you can't raise taxes because there is no one to pay them then you have a ****ing problem. My 6 year old understands this.

Just imagine how many more will be added because of the subsidies to pay for affordable health care.

Well Max... it was a really simple conclusion to come to. Subsidize a behavior and you get more of it. And these folks were not the most responsible people in the world to begin with... to put it mildly. The dems got their voting base now. I'm just wondering if what is left of the middle class, descending into poverty, will stand for it. Probably.
Kruschev was right. They did bury us. We buried them first though.
I hate to say it... but the only real solution I see is another world war. I'm guessing it will come with China sooner or later. Only way the parasites will get cut down to size now is being cannon fodder. Same with Europe.
RIP America. Hope I don't live long enough to see the end. :bawl: :bawl:

According to the article, if you add in those on social security, medicare, unemployment and some vet benefits the numbers are even higher.
the total number of people receiving government benefits from one or more programs in the United States in 2011 climbs to 151,014,000, according to the Census Bureau
1.4 people per every full time job. And this was 2 years ago. How many more have been added since then?

Added? We haven't had any period of net positive job growth - i.e. added jobs - since 2007.
Barry Big Ears prefers it that way, too: not only does he have more people dependent on Big Gub'mint, but the shrinking universe of jobs available is the only way he's able to keep the monkeyed unemployment numbers the Regime's propaganda shills keep reporting from exploding.

the only possible good thing is maybe some people still have a sense of value and do not WANT to be takers. These people some of them may want to get off assistance as quickly as possible. Lets hope at least half of those taking are this way. For a time I did need help. However I got off as soon as I could as I did not feel human not providing for myself.

Some people, sure. More than half? No way.

The only hope I see when reading the article and really diving into the numbers is I don't think its actually more takers than receivers if you really look at it.
First this counts people like my Grandmother who worked for 50+ years actually paying into the system.
Second this counts my Aunt who lives with my Grandmother to help take care of her although she receives none of these benefits.
Also think about a family of 5 that has a child on disability or something, all 5 are counted.
The Census Bureau counted as recipients of means-tested government programs “anyone residing in a household in which one or more people received benefits from the program.†Many of these people lived in households receiving more than one form of means-tested benefit at the same time. - See more at: http://cnsnews.com/news/article/terence-p-jeffrey/census-bureau-means-tested-govt-benefit-recipients-outnumber-full#sthash.C2RNUiuL.dpuf
So yes these numbers are bad, and we are getting closer to what I call the "tipping point" but I don't think we are there yet and still have a little hope.

Seeing stuff like this really makes me wish we didnt raise the debt limit.
I really wish we had people in Congress who would stand up and say "nope, no more of this shit, its time we put our finances back in order and shrink this monstrosity of a government"

Liberals/Demcrats<----------------------------------------->Math Never will the 2 meet.
For the liberals and democratics it is all about what makes them feel good. They never look at the cost because that is the problem for someone else to figure out and pay for. When it starts hitting them in the pocket then all of a sudden it is the evil republicans fault. All their stuff was supposed to be FREEEEEE!!!! They never can understand the concept that nothing is free. Absolutely nothing.
Hey, I get it, I would love to be able to take in every single stray dog I see and give them a good life but the reality is I don't have that kind of money or time. The kindest thing you can do in some of those situations is put the dog down.
