The DUmmies are still obsessing about the GOP and how damaged they are.

Outside the conservative bubble, GOP sustains epic damage

The Washington Post and ABC News have released a new batch of polling that shows in quite striking terms just how badly the shutdown fight has damaged the GOP.

The question, however, is: Do Republicans actually think it matters that their image is in such disastrous shape, or is that rendered inconsequential by the degree to which the House GOP majority is believed to be invulnerable? The numbers:

This line really jumped out:

Only 20 percent think Republicans are “interested in doing what’s best for the country,” while 77 percent think they’re “interested in what’s best for themselves politically.”

Are people finally waking up??

You mean the Old Guard Republicans.

4. I wonder if these evil dumb****s took social media into consideration before they pulled this stunt.

The last time they did this crap Facebook et al did not exist.

6. The same mindset that anticipated a Romney landslide

Insular and delusional. A rude awakening is in store, indeed it is.
Romney is not really that conservative. He was a moderate.

7. Truth is, they don't give a rats' ass what all voters think.

They are counting on suppressing the votes of women, college kids and older minorities. They are counting on the money men, the kochs, peterson, adelson, giving them billions to buy the airwaves and support their voter suppression, so that only angry old white men can vote. These folks (Repugs) have no shame or conscience at all and don't give a flying **** about the country or it's economy - just want to get themselves a slice and want to make sure that others don't get the same advantage.
GOP is for the rich mantra. Try again!   :whatever: ::)

18. Let them self-destruct.

My fear is the the rethugs will be thrown a lifeline by the corporate community that benefits so much from the current two party system.
You mean the Old Guard Republicans. Not the Tea Party. Good grief!

These DUmmies are so stupid. They are making themselves look stupid as they already are.  :mental:

Hahaha! News flash DUmbasses, this will be forgotten in a matter of months. The abortion that is Obamacare and its rollout will last for months or years. Good luck fighting it.

Edit for grammar.

Even the DUmmies admitted that the populace has the attention span the depth of a teaspoon.  The shutdown amounted to a paid vacation for a handful of government employees, and didn't hurt many people (the same polling backed that up).  Obozocare, meanwhile, will be in full lethal force all year long.

The poll sample was 1000 or so adults, 24% of which were republicans.

I'd also like to point out how useless national polls are for congressional questions.  They may despise Ted Cruz in Massachusetts, but they don't have a say.  Texas loves him.

The irony is that these "stories" are all generated by the leftist bubble that does not know a country exists between NYC/DC and Los Angeles.

Yes we do, and I love that it drives the proglodytes crazy.

Typical.  That sample definitely reflects reality.   :whatever:

Not only that, but many of those "republicans" didn't like how the RINOs caved in.

Amazing.  Borderline psychotic, societal parasites who spend large portions of their lives posting personal and political musings on a board that ruthlessly censors opposing opinion, wildly skews or completely ignores proven fact to suit preconceived notions and has only one answer to dissent.  Now, I wonder:

Just what does that define?

Not only that, but many of those "republicans" didn't like how the RINOs caved in.

Oh, what do the metrics and cross-tabs of a poll mean to idiots.
