The Republican Party’s image is in a ruinous condition, as polls show wide public disapproval of the GOP that has only deepened in the wake of the government shutdown, and concern over whether Republicans are too ideologically hardline to govern.
For Republican politicians in America’s big cities, that grim state of affairs might be called “the usual.â€

The Dummy is right, there aren't too many big city GOP mayors.
Mitch Landrieu New Orleans mayor, democrat.
Rahm Emanuel Chicago mayor, democrat.
Dave Bing Detroit mayor, democrat.
Edwin M. Lee San Francisco mayor, democrat.
Jean Quan Oakland mayor, democrat.
Michael Bloomberg New York City mayor, democrat.
The big cities have democrat mayors. But why gloat about it? The big cities are mostly crappy places that people with any brains or the resources to flee are fleeing.
LiberalElite, you idiot, this is not something to brag about. This is something that you should want to keep secret.

1. unfortunately dems are self-segregated into cities which reduces their voting powers by
allowing gerrymandering to be much more effective. so we get mayors and lose the house

2. Yup that's because big cities are diverse
and the pukes can't compete
Can't compete with Santa Claus.
Not too many replies since most DUmmies have at least enough sense to be embarrassed by the fact.

Seems to me big cities are the least diverse places in the country.
Of course, in democrat language "diverse" just means homos, blacks, and mexicans.

Is this crap primitive trying to run for Top DUmmie of the year or something?
I'd nevr noticed him until a couple of weeks ago, and now he's all over the place.
This is that hate-filled "Christian" preacher, right?

I can't remember any of those EVER having a Republican mayor, in my lifetime, save New York (Gulianai) and he completely turned it around. No, it has nothing to do with diversity or education or much of anything other than:
Can't compete with Santa Claus.
and in Oakland and New Orleans? Try running as a white Republican. Heh....try running as a white Democrat. Here's a fun fact for you brain damaged adolescents who may read this thread. Remove Chicago, New Orleans, Detroit and New York from the above list and do you know what you have?
The US, as one of the least violent societies on earth. When your cities fail, and they are, don't blame us. :bird:

Pretty much anybody who has their hand out for a little wealth redistribution. Face it, DUmbasses. Your pols don't give a shit about "diversity" for diversity's sake, culture or any of that crap you tout. They care about whose vote they can buy with money from the public treasure. That's what keeps you relevant. It has nothing to do with making this country greater and stronger.

Not sure, but I hadn't really noticed "gopiscrap" until recently either.

Los Angeles is diverse. It's also big and sprawling. Most of the people self segregate into different areas.
Yesterday I was in an area that is mostly all East Asian. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, and so on. The area is large and by itself it has the population of it's own town.
But you can go into other areas of L.A. and they are all Latino or African American. The have their restaurants, entertainment etc. There isn't a lot of so called versatility going on, not like what the DUmmies are talking about.

Most big cities haven't had Republican mayors in years - often decades. This isn't some new anti-GOP phenomenon.

Big cities have the highest concentration of low income voters. And the highest percentage of professional moochers.
Steve Dawes discovered that the suburbs are where the republicans hide. They were driven out by the high taxes of the democrat cities.

This is the second post from the DUmp that I've seen mention gerrymandering in the last few days. Do the DUmmies think that the dems are not guilty of gerrymandering?

I think they are working on their next batch of excuses for failure.

Down here in red state hell, the biggest factor driving normal people out of the big cities was forced busing.

L.A. is a salad. There are a lot of ingredients but they don't blend, they just sit side by side.
There is not a single area of L.A. I didn't live in --from Malibu to San Berdu I saw it all.

Concur--my family has lived everywhere from South Central (in the 50's and 60's) to Orange County and up the Central Coast.
LA is, to put it mildly, Balkanized.
