18 R Senators voted against it and 144 House R's voted against it.

It was passed by Democrats and establishment R's.

Looks like a little less than half the Republicans weren't on board with it.

The whole thing starts all over again in Dec.  The next deadline is only 9 weeks away.

So the government basically returned to its default mode.

And that gets DU panty-wetting excited.

One thing, to the OP--NJ has a 13-point advantage built in.

The last story I saw, Booker won by 10 points.  The turnout was 25 percent.  The independent vote seemed to be split aomong both candidates equally.
