My condolences, you pitiful, dumb**** freepwads
Your tea party is over, morans. Oh, you idiots will still elect some, but your teathuglican heroes overplayed their hand to such an extent that the power they've wielded just diminished substantially.
You hate Boehner. You're so batshit insane you think very conservative members of Congress are liberals. Now you're going after your favorite, Ted Cruz.
You folks are done. This country is becoming more diverse. You repellent racist shits are aging and dying off. There won't be a civil war or secession, idiots. You'll just become increasingly irrelevant and insignificant over the next decade.
And the republican party? You teathugs managed to damage it big time. We thank you for that.
Wallow in your misery. You richly deserve it.
No, Cali, what was richly deserved is your employer learning what a piece of shit you are. Enjoy your meager existence, skank. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10023862676)

What a sad piece of work.
Sucks to be you, cali.
Now go eat an earwig, you foul mouthed scrunt.
-
Talk about bitter! :mental:
More like the downfall of the Old Guard Republican.
-
I so disagree. This was the beginning of the end of the current republican party.

In considerable pain, I might add. Have fun with obamacare.
-
Seems like somebody put their Depends on backwards. Typical Libturd response demonstrates how hateful and bitter they truly are.

I love it when you sweet talk me, baby...

I thought she like yall.

I know, after all there was never going to be a Republican President after Nixon.

How many times have these retards pronounced conservatism dead, only to have it rear up and bite their scabby asses?
Whatever it is you have to tell yourself to get to sleep at night, Eva...
-

Exactly.
While in the short term Cruz and conservatism may seem diminished and beaten, the long game is going to show a much different result. Let's not forget, this "deal" the democrats "won" is only good until February. After Christmas, the whole thing starts up again.
I'm still looking forward to 2014, cali... :-)

So am I. Maybe it's "lose the battle, win the war" in 2014.

I don't think anything has been lost, other than status quo from DC.
I have asked several people what events are going to be sticking in everyone's head next November. Will it be the two week "shutdown" in which very few "suffered" if at all, or will it be:
- Vets being shut out of their own memorial and subsequently throwing the barry-cades in front of the White House?
- Elderly tourists being practically imprisoned at Yellowstone?
- Dingy Harry Reid and all of his antics?
- Obama and all of his tantrums?
- Establishment RINOs trying their best to surrender to the democrats?
- The sticker shock of "healthcare for all"?
- The utter cluster**** of the obamacare rollout?
- How much of the government we can consider "non essential" and get rid of?
- How much more debt the democrats demanded before they would "talk"?
- etc...
This is why I'm not worried, at all. What Cruz did was galvanize a whole lot of people who were otherwise resigned to their fate of paying more people's way and showed them that, yes, they are indeed the boss and need to act accordingly when dealing with fascist democrats. There are more everyday people talking about the danger of "big government", unsustainable debt, and mistrust of corrupt politicians than there has been in a long time.
Remember, the failure that was the Carter admin was the prelude to Reagan. The failure that is the obama admin is much greater and hurting many more people. Could this be the prelude to something greater? A harder, and more permanent paradigm shift? Considering the overall conservative/libertarian bent of a lot of the kids, and a coming of age of "Gen Xers" (God, I hate that term), I think this may have been the event to start the avalanche, to awaken the giant.
We shall see... :-)

I know, after all there was never going to be a Republican President after Nixon.
Yeah.
1892: "the Republican party is dead."
1894: the biggest ever Republican victories in the mid-term elections.
(1896: Republican president elected in a landslide)
1912: "the Republican party is dead."
1914: large Republican gains in mid-term elections.
1916: "the Republican party is dead."
1918: Republicans regain control of both houses of Congress.
(1920: Republican president elected in a landslide)
1936: "the Republican party is dead"--and so it seemed true this time, with devastating losses.
1938: like the Phoenix rising from the ashes, the second-biggest Republican victories.
1964: "the Republican party is dead."
1966: large Republican gains all over the country
(1968: Republican president elected)
1974 and 1976: "the Republican party is dead."
1978: large Republicans gains all over the country.
(1980: Republican president elected in a massive landslide)
(1984: Republican president re-elected in a even-more massive landslide)
1992: "the Republican party is dead."
1994: Republicans for the first time 42 years gain control of both houses of Congress
2008: "the Republican party is dead"
2010: third-largest Republican gains in history.

Cali - you better pray long and hard to the FSM or whatever deity that you progressives believe in that Obamacare becomes everything it was promised to be overnight. Because YOU OWN IT.
All the ruckus Obama and his goons made it clear that "Republicans want to shut down the government to stop Obamacare !!!11!! ZOMG !11" - and as more and more Ocare enrollees discover they have been lied to, they too will remember who tried to stop it.

I'm not sure how we "overplayed" our hand.
I rather suppose we underplayed it.

Speaking of irrelevant.
And diversity :lmao: how about diversity of thought you dumb shit. diversity of ideas...that one ever occur to you simple minded RACIST(yes, you all are--sucking up to a race because you fear them is not the definition of harmony dipshit.)

Not one of these idiots is thinking about how much 0bamacare is hated or the mood of the country. Right now the vast majority of the people think the country is headed in the wrong direction. Good or bad, the president is the person who people equate with that. He is the head of the country. Right now we're headed too far left. We will self correct. Every party, but epecially the left, when they think they've won power and won't ever lose again are always greatly disappointed. Mood is a bigger determination of election success than any poll. Right now there is greater "malaise" than when Carter was president. I invite them to remember recent history. Carter gave us Reagan. Oh, and Hillary is more despised than she is loved. The rest of the country doesn't view the next presidential election as "her turn". They made no deal with her. Set her up against someone with the charisma of Reagan & guts of Reagan (Cruz comes to mind) and she'll look like an old hag with tired ideas and nothing more than a continuation of 0bama.

I think they overestimate the number of people so pissed off that they didn't get to see the the Grand Canyon that they'll be voting moonbat next year.
Or the people adversely affected by closing 17% of the government (Hint: It wasn't anyone likely to vote Republican anyway).
Or people not getting paid. I'm a federal gubmint employee and my paychecks never missed a beat.
-
Not if the MarxistMedia® has anything to say about it.
Id suggest that is going to be a hard sell at this point.
However, I do expect the media to quietly replace references to 'Obamacare' with the ACA - to feed the notion that they are somehow different plans - and the one called 'Obamacare' isn't the plan everybody hates.
-
This country is becoming more diverse.
Wouldn't that be a bad thing for you? I mean, true diversity is awful for socialism, which requires lockstep thinking.
For example, see how violently you react to diversity of thought in the black community. Those who think outside the approved Democratic House Negroâ„¢ paradigm are labeled all sorts of nasty things, including not being "real blacks".
Naw, by "diverse" you mean "having various level of melanin, but following the liberal gameplan to a 't'", the most superficial kind of diversity.

This wasn't a win, and they know it.

We also have someone put 0bama on the defensive. Cruz made 0bama look like a petulant child. Cruz, Lee & Rand were all over the place on TV, even enemy territory. None lost their composure, none allowed themselves to get distracted or took any kind of bait the media gave them. Every time they went on a show they talked about the legislation they proposed to keep the parts of the government open the people cared about. Everyday 0bama would try to close something else. Many things either made people angry or made him a laughing stock. These three men, but Cruz especially rose above everything and got their point across with grace, strenghth and a positive attitude. Dare I say it, he was Reaganesque. We lost a battle, but it's a war that's just begun. Now we have a few generals. They proved by their words and demeanor all the things said about them weren't true.

Republicans did Dunkirk a while back, months ago.
But of course evacuations don't win wars.
Right now, we're about where the British were the late summer of 1940; having evacuated, everybody safe back home, but still considerably tired out and somewhat in disorder. And there's a massive air-battle to start.
Everybody knows the subsequent history (and substitute "the Americans" with "the Tea Party").
<<biding time; victory is inevitable, but not without uncertain moments in between.

This.
There will be setbacks. However, if our cause is just, we will win the war. It may require actual bloodshed in a Rwanda 1994-style civil war (which I think the Progs just might be looking to do) and good people will die, but our side will win the war. (Got that, NSA?)

Hey Cali...lets chat again after the 2014 mid terms and see if you're still pushing that GOP is dead meme.

Wendy Davis has the right-wing scared shitless!
That pink-shoed twait, gets almost no coverage. Basically none. We laugh at her down here in Texas.
Yet, you idiots repeatedly rail against Ted Cruz. Who has who, scared?
Let's look at something.
You folks are done. This country is becoming more diverse. You repellent racist shits are aging and dying off. There won't be a civil war or secession, idiots. You'll just become increasingly irrelevant and insignificant over the next decade.
If this were the case, why are you continuously ranting. He should be "irrelevant" (much like abortion Barbie), and not worthy of your attention.
Oh no, cali, you know you're wrong, and that frightens you.
Kicked dogs yelp the most, and you seem to be yelping a lot now days. :rotf:
edit for more.
Here's another list of "irrelevant" for you, cali. Choke on it.

I wonder how many non moonbat Democrats are waking up to what Obamacare is doing to them. Maybe the Republicans don't have to do anything to turn this around.
