Wall St Crashed Oct 1929 GOP Crash Oct 2013
Strange the two crashes were both in Oct. I hope the name GOP Crash sticks!
Polls close in 17 minutes.
<<<on edge.
He will do better this time....he will not finish in last place....DUmmie logic says sixth in a 4 man race is not last place.
For those of your playing along at home.

I'm sure he will win in a landslide.
I'm worried that the big guy, who has access to radio news there, will learn before we, who have to rely upon the internet, do.The only radio stations I can find in Bellevue are a couple of sports stations. They only do news every 15 minutes.

Steve should demand a recount.Yes. The election page says 959 votes were cast, but only 958 counted.
Forty-four votes? A ham sandwich could break the 100-vote barrier.
Dave Compton . . . . . . . . . 256 26.72
Steven Carmichael. . . . . . . . 607 63.36
Steve Dawes. . . . . . . . . . 44 4.59
Michael Knebel. . . . . . . . . 41 4.28
WRITE-IN. . . . . . . . . . . 10 1.04
He got 44 votes. Only one guy trailed him so he wasn't dead last.
By not finishing last, hopefully this will inspire Socialist Steve Dawes to try, try again until victorious. For those that live in the area, this means a free dinner every election cycle.
Was this the order of the names when listed on the ballot?
Steve will just claim that people intended to vote for Steve, but accidentally voted for Steven instead.

That is just pitiful. :lmao:On the plus side, he is more popular than write-in candidates Mike Hunt, Connie Lingus and Dick Hertz.
Hmm...4.59% of the vote?
:nelson:

This year, he got 44 votes.Thank God for write-in.....without him this could have been embarrassing.
Last year, he got 173 votes.
If the trend continues, the write-in might beat him next year.

I'm dismayed by two things:
1. He managed to find 42 people to vote for him besides himself and his wife.
2. He didn't come in dead last. This is a staggering victory for him.
Mini-tacos, anyone?
For those who don't know, that was the Tea Party Republican who won.
He lost last November to the establishment Republican incumbent, and Compton in this race was the establishment.

I think this is the biggest story. Chief Sweaty Pits should have this drummed into his considerably large backside every day of his remaining, worthless life. If he could not beat an extremist teahadi, in this era of caving RINOs, at this low ebb of conservatism, then he should be exiled and never heard from again.
The bottom line is that without the help of 'The Friends of Steve Dawes', Steve Dawes actually lost votes. :rotf:
:rotf:
Only 44 votes and his platform was establishing a restaurant tax to soak the saps who frequent Bellevue's fine eateries.... how did he go wrong?
How much did the misfits kick in this time?
