$1000.oo for a colonoscopy with health insurance
How are working people supposed to afford medical care?
I have medical coverage, how do I afford the treatment?
Very frustrating.
Single payer is the answer.

3. it should be no copay if you are 50 years old or older
part of the free preventive care change in the ACA
I am trying to get mine scheduled even now, and because I have Aflac I expect to be paid to get it done.
"Free"?
Free is a liberal fantasy word.

Yet another stupid DUchebag that soe not understand insurance or the intricacies of tying ones own shoes. Aflac is supplemental insurance not medical insurance.

http://www.oldielyrics.com/lyrics/sammy_davis_jr/ive_gotta_be_me.html
I started this messy rewrite of the song "I gotta be me".....y'all improve it and finish it.....please, the DUmmies need a new theme song for their conventions.
Lyrics
Whether I'm right or whether I'm wrong
Whether I find a place in this world or never belong
IIts gotta be me free, I've Its gotta be me free
What else can I be but what I am a DUmmie
I want to live, not merely surviveexist
And I won't give up this dream these drugs Of life that keeps me alive real high
I Its gotta be me free, I Its gotta be me freeThe dream that I see makes me what I am vote DUmmiecrat
That far-away prize, a world of success SS
Is waiting for me if I heed the call
I won't settle down vote brown, won't I'll settle for less
As long as there's a chance that I can have it all free
I'll go it alone, that's how it must be
I can't be right for somebody else
If I'm not right for me
I gotta be free, I've gotta be free
Daring to try, to do it or die
I've gotta be me
I'll go it alone, that's how it must be
I can't be right for somebody else
If I'm not right for me
I gotta be free, I just gotta be free
Daring to try, to do it or die
I gotta be me

I think the DUmmie is talking about how aflak pays you when you are off work for an injury. I guess the DUmmie is considering butt hurt to be acceptable to the insurance co.
Sheesh, it doesn't even have enough time saved up to go to the doc and get paid for the day.

Single payer is the answer.
Do you think it will be cheaper, faster and better with single payer dummie?
I tell my clients that wish to purchase my services this:
You got 3 options, and you pick what you want... but you can only have 2:
The options:
1. Cheap
2. Fast
3. Good
The scenarios:
A) If you want it cheap and fast, it ain't gonna be good.
B) If you want it cheap and good, it ain't gonna be fast
C) If you want it fast and good, it ain't gonna be cheap.
With single payer, you will get A or B.... most probably B. Scenario C will never happen unless you pay out of pocket.
Stupid dummie. What will happen with single payer is the government will dictate what you get as far as payment... and the government is broke. Your free/cheap healthcare nirvana will never happen because there is no free lunch. Look at Britain. Don't bring up Germany either as it is not a good example cause most of the folks over there don't sit on their ass and expect someone else to take care of them. They also don't pay shit for their defense. Britain is different. Lots and lots of deadbeats in Britain on the dole.
Personally Dummie... I think the fed government ought to set up VA type hospitals for you single payer advocates. Tax you accordingly. VA did their damnedest to kill my dad several times and the only reason why it didn't happen was cause they were too incompetent to do even that... although they tried hard. The closest they came was when they prescribed him 20 mg of Lisinoprile for high blood pressure. What he got was 200mg tablets. Good thing I had stopped by that day or he would have been dead.
Be careful of what you ask for dummie... you just may get it.

Single payer is the answer.
Actually this case is precisely why "single-payer" is not the answer. One of the reasons that the U.S. has better cancer survival rates than the U.K. is that there is far more testing at early stages under your system...in the U.K. the N.H.S. doesn't fund as much early testing, and thus matters are diagnosed at a later stage when treatment will be less successful.
