Crowley, Rangel Among Arrests at Pro-Immigration Rally
Reps. Al Green (D-Texas) Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill., Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.), Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) and famed civil rights leader John Lewis (D-Ga.) were also arrested after speaking at the rally.
About 200 activists were also arrested as part of the event, according to organizers.

And while we were watching that - Pelosi thanked Obama for letting the Immigration Rally use the mall. Directly thanked him.

Can we arrest some more Democraps? That would be nice, then the adults could get some serious work done in Washington.

Dems think getting arrested at protests are like badges of honor.
-
Why are they protesting? Don't they know that the law is already settled?
-
I'm disappointed....no frog marching.

I was going to say "Is it his front yard they are using? Does he have exclusive rights to decide who gets to use it? Because last time I checked, those are PUBLIC LANDS, as in the PEOPLE own them, not one crotchety guy who shouts at the neighborhood kids to get off his lawn."

It's part of his "get even" mentality. (Or Valerie Jarret's)
He must live in a very protected bubble, if he doesn't think this isn't hurting his image.

"Your honor, I'd like to advise the court that Mr. Rangel has holdings in the Dominican Republicnd is therefore a flight risk. I recommend that Mr. Rangel and his buddies be denied bond until this case can be adjudicated."
...And then I woke up back in this Bizzarro World where America was run by a petty two-bit dick taster who hated the United States...

I've been thinking. If these rallies always end in some of the participants being arrested (and they know this beforehand, they put their name on a list to be arrested), why can't the police start arresting the organizers as members of a conspiracy to commit a crime? Even if the crime is disorderly conduct. No one gets arrested at TP rallies... ijs

Look at the mess they left behind. Yeah, these are the kinds of people we want as citizens.
