My Grandfather, Who Has Hated President Obama, Just Called... (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10023808604)
He asked if I was watching the President speak on television today....
I said "I am, and I am agreeing with him 100% (I like to rib him a little bit )
He said, "Wait, let me finish...I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I am agreeing with him too....these Republicans who won't raise the debt ceiling are assholes!"
He then went on to say how he found out today that under Obamacare, he and my grandmother are going to save $63 a month on their premiums!
We may be at a turning point here!

$63??? piker. If you're going to lie why not make it $633. If gramps is on Medicare Obumma care isn't going to have any effect on his premiums. It will however, make it harder for him to find a doctor. And then there's those pesky death panels.

So the one with unqualified hate has been bought off from his mysterious principles that may or may not be conservative by cheaper medical insurance. Also, the grandfather hates those that have a problem with the nations debt, although he quickly brings up his ability to budget better under Obamacare. What a DUmbass...

Which is why it is a BS or "bouncy" story, because the DUmmies just like to make this up to inflate or prove that their views are correct. :mental:

Well no one else will tell them, "Hey! You were right all along!"
and so, the bouncy was born to justify all their lies and fantasies.

My nephew, who use to love obozo, just called and said his health care will go up almost $300 a month and says he is glad the Republicans (he doesn't call them "rethugs" anymore) are holding out to defund it! He asked for the link to Ted Cruz' website and said he might register "Independent" next year.
You should have HEARD the names he called harry reid (even "dingy Harry" but he didn't know where the term originated).
Crap -- bouncies is easy!

Well...I've got a story. Just recently my old college buddy has decided to take schooling to become a doctor. Much to my surprise. At his bachelor party we discussed it. In college he was a Chicago Democrat, but I always felt was more conservative then let on. He now professes to have serious issues with high taxation. He doesn't feel like he should be punished for working hard to be successful. He's at odds with another Democrat who's also an old time friend. That friend always uses the 'shame' or 'guilt' points to end every argument when he has run out of excuses for his confused political beliefs. You know what I'm talking about. I personally did battle with that liberal and he asked me if I think clothes, shelter, and food are human rights. Of course I said "No!", to his utmost disgust. I said Freedom is. Point being: My college buddy is older and has real world experience. Now he's becoming disillusioned by all the liberal fantasies of his youth. He also loves to watch Hannity much to my amazement. That's what I call turning the corner.
