Posted this here so the dummies will see it.
60 Minutes came on after the Dallas/Denver game and I was ironing clothes so the TV never got changed. Their lead story was the disability gravy train. Now when CBS starts harping on the fraud of disability, you know the gravy train is about to end. They were harping on how there were no jobs, etc, and people were desperate.
They focused on some small town on the Kentucky/WV border. Of course they did not say how obumbles anti-coal policy was hurting those small towns.
Anyway... they were interviewing these two ladies from the SSA out of Huntington and they said that almost 50 percent were not disabled. Then they had some senator on, Coburn I think his name was... he was from Oklahoma... and he said we spend 150 billion a year in SS disability. He said that was more than we spent on several departments together, including homeland security.
Poor, poor, dummies. Better find some other way to scam money out of the taxpayers. Poor, poor, obumbles. When you have sort of lost CBS, you ain't doing good.
No link yet. It was just on TV.

There's a couple of primitive campfires on the subject, just lit, not enough time yet to give a primitive consensus.

Disability Fraud: Hal Rogers, Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul should be more ashamed than Eric C. Conn

Eric C. Conn is a crook and it looks like he will get his day in court. He has made millions on possibly thousands of fraudulent disability claims.
But that is more of a symptom of a problem in this part of Kentucky. People have very few job opportunities and turn to these programs for whatever meager living programs like this can give them.
We are the 2nd poorest district in the country and that's what I wish the focus of the story would be when the national media comes to shed a light on our latest problems.
Poverty is the root cause of most of Appalachia's problems and as long as people continue to vote against their interests, that will never change.
Ah, no mention of coal mining.

Bullshit dummie. I live in WV. 99 percent of the problems in WV/Ken****y is due to dumbasses like yourself not getting an education and doing drugs. Guy I know, HS education, is making like $65,000 a year watching a bunch of meters, gauges, whatever, at a fracking site. He is 27 yrs old. Yes it is 12 hour days 5 days a week, 6pm to 6am, rotating schedule, in all kinds of weather, no paid holidays. But guess what? He is making more than most people and got a company truck to boot. They also put him up in a hotel wherever the job site is and they feed him. He told me the other day that they can't FIND people that can pass a drug test. He said that he would work more and make more, but some law, rule, whatever, says they can only work 60 hours in any one week. He doesn't know if it a company rule or gummint rule.
Now lets move on to people voting against their self interest. WV has been dem run for over 80 years. So you are saying that voting for dems is against their self interest? I have to say I agree, dummie!!!!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Hoist on your own petard, dummie.

DITTO!
Growing up on a farm, wasn't anything for Dad and I to watch the sun come up twice before we finally quit, especially if it was during harvest. Those cows ate before we did! We didn't go by any gooberment rules concerning labor laws, in fact, 75% of our problems WAS gooberment rules. The only thing more fickle that the weather was keeping up with Carter's dumbass regulations, and Nixon's dumbass EPA!

Lawyers talking about how they represent people who got awarded disability but didn't 'deserve' it.
I forgot when a lawyer got to make a medical diagnosis for their client.
This was some *really* shoddy reporting.
And no, I'm not on disability.
