In your opinion, how long will the government shutdown last for?
-
Needs a poll.
21-30 days because Harry Reid is a selfish asshole and won't lift a finger unless Obama tells him to.

Not long enough.

I couldn't care one way or another.

Let us hope forever.
We will find we can live without the "nonessential" services and can cut 1/3+ of the Federal Government.
Let the Smithsonian charge admission and self-fund like so many other museums do. Other than that, the rest we can do without completely.
-
The longer the better. Fund the military and the border security and lock the rest of the store up.
Oh, and good riddance.

Should be called Government Slimdown.

I agree with all of these responses.
I especially like "We will find we can live without the "nonessential" services and can cut 1/3+ of the Federal Government." If non-essentials are furloughed, then their positions must be non-essential.
