Title: DUmmy DUmoTex Laid Off - Oregon Burns Despite Monsoon
Post by: GOBUCKS on September 30, 2013, 11:24:21 AM
Well, engineering a government shutdown remains the stupidest, most self-destructive "strategy" our folks in Congress could have ever come up with, second only to the lunacy of threatening default, but it does apparently have one silver lining: DUmp phony soldier DUmoTex is getting laid off from his make-work federal handout job in the firetower.

Thought USFS-FIRE was exempt from shutdown layoffs? WRONG!

I came down from the mountain today, cold and tired (and sick as a dog) from yet another 5-day shift in the wilderness, to be told that I will most likely be furloughed on Tuesday, if the government is shut down. The Department of Agriculture/USFS has the list drawn up, and most USFS-FIRE 1039-TEMPS are on that list. I am a USFS-FIRE 1039 TEMP.

I'll give the US GOV a couple of days, gratis, in the lookout tower whilst I pack my gear. If I spot a fire, I will report it. I will do what any sane, responsible adult (but not a member of Congress) would do in a bad situation. I'll do my job, clean my workplace, and move out .. all for free.

And I'll clean the lookout tower it like it has never been cleaned before, on my own time. Why? Because even after the ****ing teabagger Congress fires my ass, I'll be the one opening up the wilderness

It's hard to spot fires through that constant pourdown rain up there in Oregon. Takes a pro like phony soldier DUmoTex.

2. My dear DemoTex...
You are such an honorable man. You keep your word, and you keep it beyond when most people would have packed it in.

I sense the CalPig getting horny. Watch out for poetry.

Oh boo hoo hoo.

This guy, a good pal of the late grouchy old Don up in machine-run Chicago, doesn't care about the overburdened taxpayers of America; all he cares about is his own selfish self.

And those stupid faggoty pictures of treetops that he takes from the watch tower. He has the perfect job for getting DUmmy chicks all moist: not much to do except gaze over the wilderness and be all "dreamy." Nothing kickstarts CalPig's Bartholins into gear more than that dipshit issuing dispatches from the simplest job in the world ("if you see smoke, push this button. Think you can handle that?"). I'd pay a sawbuck to have a look at her private messages.

How cute you say you want to come in and do that stuff. Of course my husband will still be required to perform his military duties and not get paid. He gets to work and have his pay withheld without interest for god knows how long. Of course still being responsible for expenses incurred in doing his job (gas, uniform cleaning, meals and the like) and will do so without complaint to his superiors (I will get an earful). He can't protest or strike. He will just do his job like he does every day. Not to mention the countless other service members home and deployed.
So the next time you feel like making a 'noble statement' just STFU.

Aren't you just an upstanding citizen!

Because we have to draw the line and stop spending the taxpayers money like a drunken sailor, you're willing to let the wilderness burn. I'd do the ****in' job for nothin'! I'm disabled and retired, but I bet I could still spot fires from a tower on some mountain top.

****in' prick! I have volunteered many times for fighting fires here in the Pacific Northwest, and never asked for a dime of compensation! They fed me exceptionally, furnished showers, bedding, etc. It was my duty, ya ****in' asshole! All you think about is havin' those of us who have actually worked for a living pay your worthless ass to sit around and enjoy nature.

Granted, there are times ya actually have to pick up a shovel, but chances are, you haven't actually done any physical labor for months! Even when ya do, I'll lay dollars to donuts ya do your best to do as little as possible!

(edited to add):

Besides, the ****in' job is "temporary"! Ya do get, "temporary", right? Once fire season is over, let me guess, ya collect federal unemployment, right?

Yer nuttin' but a ****in' leach, DUmbass! Go out and get a real job, if ya can find one since yer messiah has destroyed the jobs market for his socialistic ideals!

****in' leach!

He says that all the time.

Says he's going to work "gratis," but he'll eventually get paid.  You're not that much of a hero, DUmo.  Try and stay dry!

If he does, and he probably does, he's hardly the only primitive who sees it this way.

nadin of course comes down from the highest mountain.

Define "work".

The only difference between DUmoTex and 0bamaites sipping Colt45 on a porch in Chicago is that DUmoTex has better scenery.

This sounds fishy to me.  I wouldn't think that he would be allowed to work for free while furloughed even if he wanted to.

C. Working during Furlough
1. May an employee volunteer to do his or her job on a nonpay basis during a shutdown furlough?
A. No. Unless otherwise authorized by law, an agency may not accept the voluntary services of an employee. (See 31 U.S.C. 1342.)

He's a DUmmy. Given the chance he'll dismantle the firetower and sell it.

I think I know why Ranger Gord DumoTex is so reluctant to leave his fire tower:

Mascari said the BLM sees two main types of marijuana growers on forest lands: those who plant, walk away and then return when the plants are fully grown; and those who camp out near their crops.
