So Anyhow..... I Passed The Test

Yesterday morning I finally brought to an end a summer of struggle and passed the Washington State Class A CDL road test and got my license to drive the big trucks.

I was having issues with the required 90 degree backing turn in the past two test and like magic yesterday morning it all came together.

Now on to hopefully find a job that will keep me home at night so I can continue to be politically active in my community.

So If you live in the Seattle area ya better watch out cause you never know who will be in that big rig.

I got news for you, buster.

First, IF you want to make the big money driving a truck, forget that "home at night" shit.  Plan on getting home at least once a week, more likely every 2 weeks.  Local/short distance truckers barely make squat, you'd been better off driving for UPS/FedEx (You don't need a Class A CDL to drive those trucks).

Cross country/long haul and especially hazmat/oversize loads pay mega bucks, but you need mega experience to land hazmat/oversize loads.  Newbies get the "shit" loads, and will do so until they have several years experience behind the wheel.  To quote a line from a BTO song:  "You Ain't Seen Nothing YET!"   :lmao:

Secondly, DOT does MANDATORY annual drug tests, and depending on the company, at least 1-2 random checks every year.  No illicit drugs for you, smithy, even for "medicinal" purposes, plus you have to have a DOT physical done every 2 years, and carry a little card with you stating you have "medical certification."  Yes, a DOT physical INCLUDES a drug test.

Third, since you stated you live in Washington state, I sure am glad I live on the East Coast!!!!   :lmao:

rsmith numbers....gets a job driving trucks.

whats more likely to happen?
1) he works for a few months and claims an injury, and rides the disability band wagon for life.
or
2) the DUmmie uses drugs on the job and kills someone.

Yes.   :rotf:

I opt for
3) Quits after his first run, a 10 hour trip which takes him 3 days to do, 2 of which he spends lost in Idaho.   :lmao:

I'd like to see the DUmmie make a several state permitted load....height, length, width, weight, everything with a little hazardous material thrown in. "IF" and when he got back, he would quit trucking or be a die hard conservative for life.

I don't think rsmithnumbers is likely to fail a drug test.

His problem is an absence of intelligence.

I'm not sure there's a single DUmmy at the DUmp who is DUmber than rsmithnumbers.

Yeah, he's definitely a "go forward" driver.  Couldn't drive his finger up his own ass using both hands and a spotter!!!   :lmao:

This is nothing new, had quite a few truckers in the big rigs that came into work a few years ago that were bat shit crazy, half blind , spoke little English or could even read road sign's.

Panic on the loading docks, at times the fork drivers had to park their rigs for them.  No problem for the dock workers, if a driver got lost that meant over time for them to hang out and wait for them to arrive 2 hours late.

One today needs a CDL to drive a school bus much less a 18 wheeler.    Yet one can buy a bus size motor home with just a motor license.   I would think these drivers of those vacation homes to be even more dangerous  then those in the big rigs.     With perhaps only 8,000 miles if that and driving hours, a driver of a big rig must put in 40-50,000 + hours and the more time spent in the cab even for the unschooled in English drivers.

rsmithnumbers is the DUmmy who was selected by his town council to pick up half-empty beer cans and used condoms in the park.

Who will keep the park clean now?

The next time you see a drunken raccoon gnawing on a condom, blame rsmithnumbers.

I thought he had a job.  I remember he was talking about "the company" as if it was a large and well-known enterprise.

I agree with GOBUCKS.  Drugs aren't a problem, sheer DUmbness is.

Smithy, you truly are a DUmbass.  When you are choosing politics over the livelyhood of your family there is NO hope for you.  What an IDIOT.  Just please stay on the west coast.     :hammer:

rsmithnumbers is unlikely to find a suitable job driving big rigs: days only, high pay, no backing up.

Expect to see posts about rampant age discrimination in trucking (rsmithnumbers is in his sixties).

I really hope he shares his resume cover letter.

You'd think he'd already know that after hauling his wife around, huh?

Is that a threat, DUmbass? Maybe we should keep track of you and let your employer know how you feel about the other drivers on the road.

I can only hope this DUmmie gets lost in my neck o' the woods!

One of my Dads drove 18 wheelers for 35 years. It cost him 2 marriages. He was home maybe a week every 3 or 4 months. The women sure liked the money, but couldn't keep their legs closed that long. Same for him, he couldn't keep his pecker in his pants either.

I've had a Class A since I was 17. Passed the test the first time I tried. Mainly because my ol' man had me fueling and parkin' trucks since I was 12. He owned 2. Both cab-overs. A Freightliner and a Kenworth. Both stayed on the road 365 days a year. Money was excellent, but home life suffered.

My son has a Class A, he is fortunate to deliver and pick up for an appliance outfit, so he actually gets home to his wife and 3 kids most every night. Those jobs are few and far between. Although, he has worked for 17 days straight, he does get home most nights.

That, plus low literacy and a tendency to indulge in hysterics.

Heh, heh! Been there, done that!

Another thrilling ride is bein' in the fast lane on a Denver freeway in a Freightliner doin' 70 and traffic comes to a dead stop! It'll definitely put hair on yer chest!
