1. I can't imagine why anyone would oppose background checks.
But at the same time I'm surprised that the number is as high as 94%.
People who respond to polls often don't have the background knowledge to offer a reasoned answer.
Impacts of ignorance of respondents notwithstanding, I think 94% is very encouraged.

2. Ask the gang why they oppose them

There seem to be two main arguments: 1) pretending all guns already go through background checks. If something is in a law book, that means it regulates any and every gun sale.
2) Crime is going down anyway, so the 32,000 deaths with guns every year aren't worth worrying about.
I'm glad to see you're on board though!

3. This should not surprise anyone.
Universal background checks are a good idea.
However, there are good implementations and bad implementations. Some folks believe that the bad implementations are worse than staying with the current state of background checks.

4. The gunners insisted I was an "extremist"
for wanting expanded background checks. They have no sense of reality. Truly astounding.
Yet, you are an extremist.

7. "expanded" isn't in the poll question.
Nothing in that question distinguishes between current law and new proposals. Like most things CNN, it's useless.

6. I am the 94 percent!
No reason why there shouldn't be background checks.

11. Also 60% support banning semi-automatics, and 14% support banning all guns.
Which means that people who oppose universal background checks are far more extremist than people who want to ban all guns.
Source?????????????????

13. Exactly!!!!
She keeps doing her anti-gun crusade at DU. It is not getting as much replies as one would expect.

I don't know many who oppose background checks, but there needs to be a law where crazy people like the DUmmies, have their names on lists to crosschecked with.
It's going to far to require a BG check be done if a father wants to give his son or daughter a gun he got from his dad.
-
Note to DUmbshit LUrkers, 98% of all guns sold legally already have background checks.
Now when you buy a gun from a gang member in Chicago or New York there are 0% background checks.
Next.
And BTW, the black uber Obama leftist that killed all the people in the Navy yard that got spiked two days later had a background check.

Between me and my son, I have no idea how many guns we have between us. However, we have had several background checks. Just how many do ya need DUmbass before ya figure out yer just wastin' taxpayer money? OBTW, we both have CC and been cleared by the FBI on numerous occasions.
Many guns we have are working order antiques. Guess what? You can buy them from estate sales, even pawn shops without a background check in most states. Guess yer never gonna get what you want.
I think anyone who brags about how many prescription depression meds they take, should be banned for life! That would take care of most of you Chicken Littles at the DUmp!
You've heard of survival of the fittest, right? You's are in deep doo doo!

That poll was from 2011.
It never did say who or where the polling took place.
Therefore, I can poll an NRA convention, get different results, and not disclose the source.
My result would be just as accurate as theirs.

CNN? Just what do they expect the poll to turn out like? Ya ever seen the sampling rates on some of these polls? The media couldn't tell the truth if it was shoved up their ass! Oh, that's right! There's no room as their head takes up too much room!

DUmmies, I think that every single democrat up for reelection next year should make stringent gun control their top campaign issue.
:lmao:

Yes, because 2 1/2 year-old Clinton News Network polls are always indicative of reality.
Stupid, b*tch.

Posting information like that in a comment over there, will get you banned because it violates their TOS. (hurt feelings)
Never point out the obvious or the truth.
My mole is po'd about that.

That's the thing that pisses her off the most. Not everyone is as an ardent gun grabber as she is. She actually believes that she is the norm.

Wait, you mean there isn't an iPhone app for that? I can certainly see some dude sellin the 'gat',running a stolen CC through his Square Card direct to his PayPal debit card while processing the Background Check in a single app. :lmao: "Thieves 're Us" needs to get with the folk at Pirate Software an get 'er done. :thatsright:

just so I could show her a half eaten pop-tart shaped like a pistol just so I could watch her piss her pants in fear.

That would be a good poll question.
"Do you support background checks when selling/trading firearms between relatives?"
I do not think the result would be anywhere near 94%.

Nice. Fifty-three thousand DUmp posts for Skip.
And fifteen hundred here?

Funny how public approval of something, no matter how baked the numbers are, only matters to them when it's something their clay idol wants, but when it's something lhe hates ike repealing Obamacare, then polls don't matter anymore.
Go figure.
