Title: the cousin's thinking about it

Oh my.

You know, it's really odd, how the cousin's been swept to the back pages the past few weeks.  She used to pretty much dominate the DUmpster, but nobody's been paying attention to nadin recently.

The way things are going, she'll be lucky to make the bottom half of the top DUmmies of 2013; even the primitives themselves have been ignoring her.

On climate change...

We were thinking about it, and how less and less deniable is becoming.

Superstorms, check...Katrina, Sandy, right now China is getting pounded.

Epic floods, a storm that usually moves on parked over Colorado, and Mexico's both coasts and Sinaloa are a hot mess.

Wild fires, well that one we had two major fires in Riverside County early in the season, before the official start in fact, one in San Diego, a few in other states, and of course the Rim Fire in NorCal. Now here is what is special. In SoCal the season started way before it's usual time and started hot. For the second year in a row we had a hot and humid August. (It tends to be hot and dry) and September no sign of a Santa Ana and early October is looking like the beginning of fall.

Perhaps even the fire season, yes you can set your watch, is also starting to switch. One model Of climactic change I saw at Scripps was for SoCal coastal to become wetter with monsoon rain patterns. Wetter is a matter of degree of course.

2. I know, but I hope those who make policy

Start to get it.

The above's the whole entire campfire, after several hours and a paltry 146 primitive views.

I'll bet the cousin resents the brain-damaged primitive, the convenience store primitive, and the locust primitive, at the moment; they stole her notoriety.

Then of course there is the ongoing problem with the fact that there has been no warming for the last 15 years.

Other than that it is TOTALLY undeniable about global warming.

No that one of the gospels of the leftist cult is crumbling before their gullible eyes expect hysterical outbursts about AGW.

You forgot Tea baggerzzzzz.  Hey, you idiots are the ones who aspire to be Norwegian.

Yeah, the articles are ramping up. They run the gamut from condescending British "Hey, Let's be reasonable" all the way to Marxist/Islamist "Believe us, or we'll kill you."

Same shit, really.

It's always been funny, about how on the general forums of Skins's island, the primitives allege themselves to be descendants of historically-persecuted ethnic, cultural, and religious minorities (and never of aristocrats and other oppressing classes).....but then they go to the genealogy forum there, and brag about their Aryan credentials.

A bunch of ****ing Nazis, the primitives.

Has even one hurricane let alone a superstorm hit the US this summer?  We've had fewer thunderstorms this year and even fewer tornado watch/warnings than in the past.  For the most part this summer has been much cooler too.

See, fewer hurricanes and superstorms than normal PROVE that there is Global Climate ChangeTM.

I read an article the other day that said the scientists are "theorizing" that the ocean is soaking up the heat, so warming is still happening, but we can't feel it.  Ummmmm ... Okay.

Why didn't "The Ocean" do this before?  Did it need Teh Obamessiah to tell it its' role in all this? :???:  :whistling:

El Guapo should never have gone full retard on DU. I guess she was to busy chasing down forrest fires in California to read about how the north pole has more ice this year then the past couple of years.

It may have, we just did not keep close tabs of the worlds temperatures back 200 years ago.

On the east coast we have species moving north that are strange and invasive, some come by ships bilges and others like the Asian Carp in the Great lakes likely by human interference. They adjust to our climate and drive us nuts.

12 years ago the alligators were coming north through the Inland water way. One was found 15 miles from VA. Beach. Headed north are those Gigantic shrimp still down around SC. but still hundreds of miles from their normal habitat.

Not one year goes by that I don't find some new strange plant in my yard that gets here one way or the other.  A good year for the Maine fishermen to find some very strange mutations in the Lobsters.

What was once found once every 2-3 years has now produced at least 3 in Maine and a couple more on the New England Coast.

Scientist are working 24/7 to find out what is going on but even if they find out, it cannot be stopped.

It is nice to have answers to weird stuff but as humans it is better to learn to adapt to the changes then try to stop or control that what is natural progression of the cycles of the earth.

Airwolf, this is good news for the Polar Bears, seals and whales that mate up there. All the panic when much ice melted, Oh the horror, as if the climate had not changed up there in 5,000 years.
