Ok I just came of the phone and I was speaking to a sibling

and we were talking about two minor accidents that happened to two nephews and costs, needs, etc.
So how many DUers could access US$1,000 from some family member at least once a year?

I mean, it's not like any DUmmy could ever come up with their OWN $1,000. Not in this Bushitler economy. Funny how they all have freeper relatives, and Malaise is curious how many are willing to piss it away on their DUmmy relations. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10023712016)

Interesting self-pitying party going on so far.

I cannot imagine wanting $1000 a year from relatives.

I also cannot imagine any DUmmy that has relatives who have $1000 "at least once a year" to give them.  That sounds like perpetual and planned begging, parasitical behavior that would only appeal to DUmmies.

Pretty much explains the estrangement and unending stories about rancor and hard feelings at Thanksgiving, doesn't it? Someone probably had the nerve to ask for their money back. Or, to ask for a loan of their own. Relatives of liberals should know that money travels in exactly one direction: right to left.

It's always sort of jarring to realize how much a thousand dollars is in the DUmp world.

Aside from people like kpete and Calpig, how many primitives have ever actually had $1000 in their possession that actually belonged to them?

It's like their white whale.

Only in the process of doing a dope deal would be my guess.

I would like to know how many DUmmies have a positive net worth.

If you haven't lost more than 5 fingers on your right hand, you can probably count them all on that right hand.

I would bet about the same number as would have a negative drug test. :rimshot:

Translation: Dummie's sibling called it up and wanted $1,000. Wonder what the siblings DU name is?

The begging at the DUmp is really getting out of hand, but Nadin must be doing well in her journalism career:

It's only a thousand dollars, but at the DUmp that post qualifies as bragging.

Interesting....

Instead of their thought processes being "how can I solve this problem on my own" they immediately turn to "who can I borrow money from."

Very telling...

DUmmy definition of "borrow": Beg for the loan, then not pay it back. Move to Tucson, if necessary.

Usually the one that has been 'given' the most to start with....the one given the least usually does the best with money.
