Were they Liberals?
I saw this posted on Facebook that someone commented and was in shock- I think this might not be true and this person might be speaking out of rush mouth.
Is this true? Any help on this?

Congresswoman Gabby Giffords’ shooter – Leftist, registered Democrat.
All of these shooters were progressive Democrats!
Why is that the media always tells us that conservative NRA-type
gun-owners are the real danger?

It might overstate just how Left some of them were. The Tucson guy was really more loony-tunes than partisan-political as most of us would understand it, and living in a reality all his own, as was the Unabomber and a few others on that list and others. Major Hasan was into Jihad, not GOP vs. Dem politics, but of course it's still a pretty safe bet where his vote went. To the extent they had political records like voter registrations or traceable memberships in organizations, though, they were all Left of center and none of them were the gun-toting NRA militia/TEA Party Rethuglican nutjob stereotype the Democrats want to trot out every time something like this happens.
