I am starting a grass roots movement and encourage everyone to participate. If you see someone carrying a firearm call 911 and tell them the person is threatening others with a gun. Then sit back and watch them get spread eagle and patted down, questioned or even arrested. Americans should not have to wonder whether someone brandishing a gun is a "good guy" or a "bad guy". There is no way to know. Therefore, open carry laws are wrong and should not exist.

GLASTONBURY, CONN — A man who became alarmed when he saw a man carrying a gun inside the TD Bank at 2461 Main St. last Thursday afternoon was himself charged with breach of peace because he shook up bank staff.
Robert Gursky, 50, of Cavan Lane, was in the bank transacting business when he saw a person with a handgun. The person he saw was legally carrying the firearm and had no ill intent, police said.
Gursky, however, was concerned and tried to convey what he saw to a bank teller.
"He was trying to relay to the teller someone had a gun," Glastonbury Agent Kevin Szydlo said. Gursky was trying to write a note to the teller, and also said "gun." Gursky then completed his transaction and left the bank. He also tore up the note he was writing and threw it away.
The teller and other bank staff became alarmed, activated their robbery protocol and called police, Szydlo said. Police figured out who had the gun and determined he possessed it legally. They also tracked down Gursky, interviewed him, then charged him with breach of peace.
He was released on a promise to appear in court Sept. 25. Gursky declined to comment on Monday.

Robert Gursky, 50, was inside a TD Bank branch in Glastonbury, CT, when he noticed a man with a gun under his shirt. So he thought he’d do the right thing and let the teller know. But it all backfired.
See, Robert decided that he’d let the teller know about the other man with the gun by whispering to the teller “gun” and tried writing a note saying the same thing. He finished his transaction and then started walking out. The teller got the message alright, or at least the message the teller thought they were supposed to get: The bank hit the panic alarm thinking Gursky was the one with the gun and trying to stick up the joint.
