Lady Freedom Returns (5,969 posts)
I got a call today from my exSO...
He saw on my FB page that I an going/coming back to Tucson. He called to tell me I better not show up a (now his) home, not to hang in the neighborhood, and he better not see me on the same buses.
But I like eating at the 5TH Street Deli! And he has already thrown away any of my stuff anyway! As for the buses, We will end up on the same ones from time to time due to having to go to the same places.
Why did he call to hurt me? If he knows I am coming back, then he knows I will be homeless for a while. Why hurt me by reminding me that What was supposed to be my home is not any more?
What hurt more is that I could hear that guy in the background helping to tell him what to say, the one that broke us up.
It hurt so bad!
We need to start organizing her tales into chapters. We could write a better book than she could.

The book cover has already been designed.

3. You might want to consider banning him from your FB page.
If he does not know what you are doing had can't try to interfere in your life.
Or, don't put every aspect of your life on FB.
Or, spend more time trying to find a real life and get off FB/internet forums completely.
-
I'd call it another Amber Alert success story.
-
And the plot thickens. I see a train wreck coming.

I tell you, sir, this is not going to end well.

Can you blame him?

I think it might be time for the Ex to look into a restraining order.

I think it might be time for the Ex to look into a restraining order.
That's good advice, hope Dave takes it.

I, for one, can't wait! :yahoo: :fuelfire: O-)
Miskie's advice is well taken. Hopefully, Dave has that one planned.

I have a sense of impending doom.
Between her and Locusts, do you think there have ever been two bigger trainwrecks? Toss in Denace the Menace, and 2013 is the year of the Crazies.

Any yet finding a DUmmie worthy of the #10 spot for the DoY will be a reach.

Restraining order is just a piece of paper. Paper can't stand in the way of "true love". [/LadyFreeDUmb]
I got $20 that says LFD clicks into "If I can't have you, nobody will" mode inside of 2 weeks (actual calender weeks, not "business weeks") of arriving in Tucson.

Keep in mind that she paid 50 bucks to upgrade her ticket. She's leaving Saturday.

The two leftist twits I know are both drama queens too. Is it some kind of mental defect that makes them leftists or does being a leftist make you mentally defective? Either way the destination is still the same.

Given how much time and warning Tucson PD and Pima County SO had to get their ducks in a row for the Gabby Giffords shooter, I expect Chad will be found floating in the Rillito River about 48 hours after the bus pulls into Tuscon bus station. Shortly after that...

I wonder about that a lot too. There does seem to be a preponderance of mental disorders in that group.

I've been saying it for years; liberalism is a disease.

Pretty fancy place for someone homeless and on food stamps.

Clearly it is but my question is does one have to start out mentally defective to be able to support the cognitive dissidence leftism requires OR does cognitive dissidence leftism requires make a sane person insane?
I lean that one must have some serious mental deficit to buy into the leftist BS. To keep seeing what leftist policies always bring and then go back again to the same policies time and time again. Of course there are those that maintain that every time the leftist policies fail, and they fail every time, it is outside forces that are the cause. That I think is just a special kind of stupid, pure weapons grade stupid.

In literature there is a concept known as the 'unreliable narrator.' This is exactly what it sounds like: a narrator is immediately or later revealed to be biased, or incorrect, or otherwise unreliable. This is different from plain old 'lying' in the sense that a narrator may simply have an exaggerated outlook, a self-serving perspective, or some other agenda.
There are a few possibilities, which may indeed have some overlap:
- She's making it all up.- I don't believe that her ex gave her any warning whatsoever. I do believe she reached out to him and he was either negative or ambivalent about seeing her. I also struggle with her description of her past job history juxtaposed against her current claims. People who have been "assistant producers" in studios typically do not have need of public transit to the degree that she finds it noteworthy to say that her ex warned her against using "his bus." There is nothing wrong with needing public transit, but something does not square with her description of her past life.
- She's embellishing the truth. - I doubt she is any sort of writer. Writers WRITE, and she has shown nothing but a propensity to misspell and apply what appears to be random punctuation. Moreover, there is only her word to indicate that anyone has been anything but kind to her.
- She imagines things that are not true. - the people around her probably are at worst indifferent to her. As much as I hate sounding like a big shot know-it-all, people in her job do not have exit interviews. If they do (having had several of my own), one needs to be prepared to sign COBRA notification forms, and little else. Her reason for leaving matters not, especially in a job known for turnover. That dramatic flair falls flat.
- It's all horribly true.- in this case, I would recommend that she kill herself.
So we are left with one question: is it at least good drama? Well, that depends on one's perspective, which in this case is almost tautologically equivalent to politics. I find it to be very bad drama but very good comedy. I shall have more to say about this in due time.

Long term drug use. It's the easiest explanation.

Maybe he knows that you (Lady Freedom) will be bumping into him every time he turns around. That's stalker behavior and he seems to have an idea of how you are in every day life. Shoe fits and all that jazzzzzz......

Do any DUmmy sagas ever end well?
Seems she is getting her alibi out on the web already.
It will be an interesting read the first time she "accidentally" bumps into Dave.
Hopefully Dave survives the encounter.
-
She seriously needs to reconsider her "plan", I can't believe how not a single DUmmy has offered any meaningful advice.

Meaningful advice? It looks like she's going to go try to grift off an ex now that she's worn out her welcome with family. That's like page one of the DUmmy handbook. I don't think they have anything left to say.
-
I think she called him to get his reaction and this is only the half-truth. The DUmp is doing nothing to discourage Amber's latest stupid idea - this is enablng her:

Well. I got some!
As many know a DU'er has donated a bus ticket. And through Wishadoo, people have donated $100 to a PayPal account for me to have a small nest egg.
I take off Sept. 21!
Thank you everyone!

Fifty years ago, she would be in the back ward of the MO state mental hospital.

I hope that evil Chad is packing heat. Otherwise, he's a dead man.
I know he's a white wino, but are hoodrats the only ones who get free 0bamanines?
-
I rowed over to look at the primitive comments, and as is par for the course, all but one of them seem to have the "issue" all wrong.
They seem to think the old guy's pursuing her, when the fact is she's going after him, hoping for a reunion and reconciliation.

Why is that do you think? Is she looking for a father?

Could be. Most liberals don't know their father. Their mother can only narrow it down to eleven men.
-

I think that's possible, given that she seems the "cuddling" type.
I dunno what she has against her real father, who's a widower and might, or might not, be living with one of her sisters.
Being a man though, I can't fathom what draws a woman to a man.
For example, even though this was a couple of generations before you and me, I still can't figure out why women of the time considered the late Clark Gable handsome; he looked grotesque to me.
