But the premise is true. I moved from Phoenix to Iowa. The difference is startling. I just wish I moved out this way when I was in my 20's. The gals here are awesome. Believe me, these Mid West gals know sports better than the guys. They go to church every Sunday, and the married ones watch every single little league game no matter how hot it is.

The Bible Belt means family values are taught, understood, and welcome here. Liberals hate that.

Not impressed.  Looks more like politically-correct box checking to me but I didn't watch the contest.  Maybe she did really well in the talent competition.

I had to laugh, the photo of Miss New York looks like she has dollar signs in her eyes.

I was wondering about some of the eyes the contestants have, some look like colored contacts, just happen to coordinate with clothing or jewelry.

One other interesting find, most had the same face shape, kind of heart shape.  All except Miss Alaska  who should have checked her photo proofs before sending them out.   Perhaps she could not afford the same photographer others had.

Now I would pay $5.00 to see these beautiful woman with no makeup on and no hair styling.   Crap the people employed to do their Image could make ME and my mother look good.

Miss Alaska...how unfortunate.  I don't think Arizona is spooky.  

They all look so plastic, with crunchy hair.  Most of the facebook comments below the pictures say the same thing.  Is there no natural beauty anymore?

They might look normal in person but by the time the photographers, makeup, and Photoshoppers get done with them, they look like they were formed from plastic by a toy company.
