I'm really proud of this.
I single-handedly installed a pool liner in our above-ground pool two days ago, and the thing is still holding water! :-)
It was a sad state of affairs watching our pool level drop to nothing through the winter. By the time I pulled the cover, there was a softball-sized hole in the liner, and a hole in the dirt underneath. After fixing the hole, adding sand, and carefully flipping around an 18x33 liner, I slowly filled it over two days. The thing is holding! No major collapse with thousands of gallons of water ending up in our basement!
I just had to share!

Congrats on the great job done!!!

Congrats! Things like that can really beat you down. It feels good when we are able to fix it.

Way to go Splash! Enjoy the pool.
Have been lobbying for a pool for a couple years now...... :uhsure: A hard sell in Minnesota.

My next door neighbors had their grandkids over the last few days. They have a whole water park set up in the backyard. There's 2 pools and some sort of sprinkler action going on as well. And one of the little pools has a slide. The kids run through one pool, through the sprinklers and the jump/fall into the other little pool.
I watched them for like 5 minutes the other day, they're so funny to watch and having so much fun.
Maybe you can talk your husband into a similar set up. LOL

I HAD a pool when I lived in Becker, MN. I also had the biggest DECK in town.....

It's not the size of the deck, it's the quality of the lumber. :uhsure:

Give me a couple minutes to think of a witty comeback. The Sam Adams's are catching up to me.

Do NOT tempt the Home Repair Gods by glorifying your success.
Just a word to the wise...
