I keep remembering it is only 3 more days at this job.
Then I start getting ready to go to Tucson AZ!
After the last paycheck on the 18th, everyone will be paid off. Not much for me, but at least I will be getting on a bus to a place I call home!
I may have been in Tucson for just a sort time, but I learned that city, I grew to love the mix of people.
I even was able to find my way around with great ease. I was truly home there.
Can't wait to get back!
ADD) I had a real bad day today! The whole store was out to get all workers. It was a day that the building attacked!

1. Yay!
I hope it was the store, the building, and not people who were out to get the workers!

4. The store was breaking down.
First thing this morning when the boss opened the coffee pot started to gush water, then the Cappuccino machine went on the frits
Then the power went out and we had to lock the store down for 35 minutes and that got a lot or people mad. Many, after we opened, would come in angry and throw money down and then yell that they wanted gas when we didn't turn on the pumps. We need to know what pump and how much and we need to give them a recite.
Then some guy I think did a smooth one and got $7 dollars worth of gas for $2. But due to the little training I have got in reading all the gages and controls on the register, I can't say he did or didn't.
Then when I was filling the Window washing wells, the water knob cane off and almost hit me in the head. We had to call maintenance to fix it.
I was socked all day!

3. Hang in there kiddo
It will be really intense when you can start counting the hours until you can leave. Oh, and based on what you've told us before, stay away from your family -- they are out to sabotage you. Just keep being smarter than they are.

5. Bad part is I am having to stay with them.
Not enough money to stay at a Motel till Oct 5th.
But I am looking into something...
<<<has an intuitive feeling the convenience store primitive's going to be with her loving family for a very long time yet, and so should learn to appreciate all they're trying to do for her, to get her straight.

The fella with the taco truck in the parking lot of Northpark Mall offered to let her shack up in his truck, but she'll have to play Dirty Burro with him in exchange.

When all you have in the world is a bus ticket, one pair of khakis, and a frozen $10 PayPal account, how much "getting ready" can you do?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Maybe she is planning on pilfering the register before she leaves?
Plus, the below is almost reaching the levels of a nadin word salad:

7. We endure until we win.
I've wanted to give up, toss in the towel, but I'm still here.

8. Good advice.
I will admit that with all I have been going through, I have wanted to do just that.
But what good will that do?
LFR, you are the embodiment of quitting. Off the top of my head, here are just the places you've quit:
-Joplin
-Hitchhiking to Seattle
-Springfield, MO
-Tucson
-Joplin again

I don't get it. Her bus trip isn't until Oct. 5, so why is she quitting her job 3 weeks before that?

She couldn't hack it and was ready to quit after two days. Once she decided to go back to Tucson, that's all she could think about.
Besides, wishadoo was more appealing than a paycheck.
This way she gets to spend more time with the family she hates. The next three weeks should turn out well.

Employee theft.

It's hard work, hiding that stolen fiver from her family.

We need to know what pump and how much and we need to give them a recite.
Lee's 'Farewell Address to the Army' is always a good thing to recite.
I simply cannot believe this one has a degree in communications. Or anything else.
In her journal on DU, there is a sad tale of losing the transcripts, or having them destroyed, or something, and now cannot prove any of this education for employment, and cannot afford to get replacements because of massive overdue debts from student loans.
Truly LadyFreedumb is a disaster, but a lot of fun to read.

recite and frits.
There is no hope for it.

Is she Bobbolink 2: The Legend Lives (in a Buick)! material?

Frits.
Found just to the left of the grits on the shelf at her Convenient Store.

I'm looking forward to it.
