(Share your thoughts about Sept. 11th)

Most of what I can remember was being in shock.  I had just awoke, when my sister called about 6:00 AM and said; "turn on your television"...right when the tv came on, I saw smoke coming out of the first tower and then an airplane hit the second tower...I still don't know if that was live or film.

I was glued to the television most of the day trying to wrap my head around what had happened. Got called into work that afternoon, but few customers came in and most of us just stood around trying to make sense of it and wondering if there were going to be more attacks.

For weeks afterwards, I was very nervous and afraid to go places like the grocery store or the mall and to open my mail because of the anthrax scare.  I was also very angry.  Angry that I wasn't aware of the possibility that such an attack could happen here and how clueless I was about Muslims and terrorism. I spent a lot of time researching them on the internet.

I blamed the government and the media for not educating us better.
