I heard on the news the other day that the destroyers dispatched to the coast of Syria, while capable of carrying 90 cruise missiles each, are only loaded with 40 each. Further, the force has been reduced from 4 to 3 and a support ship carrying Marines.
Hmmmmm, budget problems we are having after lobbing all those cruise missiles into Pakistan and Yemen?
The Pentagon says that it would take 75,000 ground troops to secure Syria's gas stockpiles:

...and they are considering using USAF bombers!

What webs we weave when first we paint red lines........

The world painted that red line, not Obama. *sarcasm*

Obama is such a dufus. I sure hope he isn't so arrogant as to do this without any forethought for the unintended consequences from the fallout, that's sure happen. Everything else he's done has turned to crap.

I just emailed my Representative, Billy Long (R-MO), to plead for him to vote AGAINST any resolution supporting any military intervention in Syria.

Wonder how other world leaders feel under that bus... Still can't believe he was dumb enough to try and pass that one off.

Liberals reject Obama's case for Syria strikes; believe Obama and Kerry are lying
http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/inside-politics/2013/sep/4/liberals-reject-obamas-case-syria-strikes-believe-/print/#ixzz2e1xRBgsa
President Obama’s liberal activist base is adamantly opposed to military strikes in Syria, according to a new survey the Progressive Change Campaign Committee released Wednesday.
PCCC says more than 57,000 of its activists weighed in, and 73 percent of them opposed the U.S. taking action in Syria. Just 18 percent supported strikes, and just 14 percent said the U.S. should go ahead unilaterally if it can’t find any allies.
Indeed, a majority of the activists don’t believe Mr. Obama and Secretary of State John F. Kerry are being honest when they lay out their justifications for taking military action.
His followers finally find something they can't believe from him...
It is only because he is black and their RACIST.

^^^This does not redeem them in my eyes. While they sit upon their supposed "compassionate-peace-loving-moral high ground", and oppose this war, they will quickly tell us the only reason WE oppose it is because we are racist.
They are racist. They will always be the ones to whip out the race card.

I wrote the following to my two Senators (Claire McCaskill, D-MO; Roy Blunt Jr., R-MO):
It's a real simple message, [*although I have no doubt in my mind you will ignore it, simply because President Obama says it's the right thing to do*]:
Vote NO! on Syria should it come to a full Senate vote.
The president has no business getting the country mixed up in this colossal train wreck.
While your colleagues on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee have evidently bought the nonsense shoveled down their throats by Secretary Kerry, that doesn't mean you should swallow that swill too.
[*this section written to McCaskill only, as she's a certified, card-carrying Barry sycophant]
I've already reported what my 4th District Rep (Vicky Hartzler-R) said in response to my email from two days ago, but I called again to rail on about Syria and how Barry the ****stick has no business rattling swords about which he hasn't the first clue which end is the business end.
Finally, I wrote the POS Boehner and told him what a jagoff he is for swallowing Barry's putrid swill on the whole thing.
I note with interest in another thread that Huffpo is opining that Boehner might step down in 2014. The shitstick needs to clean out his f'n desk, to include his crying towel, and run back to Ohio where he can become a ****ing Democrat.
