and I have only 28K Miles on it.
I struggled and put aside other things to pay this off. And in January, I will be free!
I won't care about gas prices. (well i will, but it won't hurt as much)
I will have a few years free of any auto payments. Freedom. it feels so good.
:cheersmate: Celebrate with me. Hoist a virtual cold one.

Congratulations, enjoy your truck that's fully paid for! :cheersmate:

I feel your joy. The July 30th payment on my wife's truck will be the last one. It is a chunky payment too. Its absence from the budget will be a financial lift.
-
Congrats!! :cheersmate:
I wish I was in your boat, but not even close.

There is nothing better than the feeling you get when you pay off a big ticket item. Congratulations!
-
Our truck will be paid off in Jan 09 too! Plus our travel trailer will be paid off Oct of this year!!!! An extra $1300 a month, whew. Yipeeee!

:cheersmate: 'grats Mr Mannn. I paid my Tacoma off in January of this year and am about to dive into another 4 or 5 years of car payments :bawl: :rotf:

Congrats!!!! Invest that former payment or stick it away. You'll need it when we're all wearing Carter's sweaters :-)
-
Congrats! :cheersmate:
I envy you, I financed my car for 72 months to get the payment low enough that I could afford it.
I've made 31 payments and have 41 remaining (to be paid off Nov. 4, 2011)
But, I pay extra on my principal every month, so I can get it paid off sooner.

Strong Strong recommendation:
Take that amount (chop off a few bucks for yourself) and PAY IT TO YOURSELF EVERY MONTH. Open an account and start (automatically) move it to a separate account. After a few months and you get that account seeded, look into investments.
You already are used to not "having" the payment amount -- just stay that way.
I did that and used it to overpay my mortgage. It looks like I will own my condo in 3 years,

We paid off both of our vehicles in March. It felt so awesome!!!!! :cheersmate:

I'm about to start a new job in a couple of months. If I've figured my after-tax pay correctly, I might be able to pay my car off two years early.
I hate car payments.

I would spend the left over money on hookers.

LOL, that's a good idea. Maybe he'll stop following me around the house with his tongue hanging out or let me sleep without getting pawed on. Geez, we've been together for 12 years! :naughty:
