(CNSNews.com) - The Chicago Public Schools this year are mandating that the district’s kindergarten classes include sex education, fulfilling a proposal President Barack Obama supported in 2003 when he served in the Illinois state senate and later defended when he ran for president in the 2008 election cycle.
At a Planned Parenthood convention at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C., on July 17, 2007, a teenage girl who said she worked as a sex-education “peer educator†in the D.C. public schools asked then-U.S. Sen. Obama what he would do to encourage the teaching of “medically accurate, age-appropriate, and responsible sex education.â€
5 year olds are too young for sex ed. They should be learning reading and math. :mental:

WTF?? Kindergarten?? That is too young. It is up to the (gasp) parents , not the government, or the public school system. Ptarmigan is correct when children should be learning numbers, the alphabet, colors, shapes, musical notes,( do, re, mi, etc...).
I think, with the media, public and personal peer pressure, technology push our kids too fast into the adult world. For goodness sake, let them be children. It is natural of course for the older child to be innocently curious," how did the baby get in mummy's tummy?"
The Liberals don't want the Government in our bedroom, but yet they push for sex ed for small children, gay marriage, gay equality, abortion, birth control... It makes my head hurt!! :banghead: :banghead:
