Oh my.

Now, this is ridiculous; I don't believe it.

The primitives in the cooking and baking forum--which I'm going to be nominating (as a group) for one of the Top DUmmies of 2013 awards ninety-eight days hence--know that we watch them for their seditious, racist, and hate-mongering activities, and I'm sure they're starting to plant facetious recipes so as to get our goat.

<<<has no goat to get; too bad for the cooking and baking primitives.

Pizza with salmon and red pepper

http://cookingwiththemark.blogspot.com

Cooked salmon

1-2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
1 bag quattro formaggio cheese (12-16 ounces)
Dried oregano

I am already imagining ways to kick it up.

2. I had an almost identical pizza in a great local Italian restaurant on the same day you posted this

Salmon, onions, capers with sun-dried tomatoes and a Béchamel sauce base and mozzarella. It was killer. Bet yours is just as good!

^^^yeah, yeah, sure you had that.   :bouncy:  <<<despite appearances, not a jumping frog.

This is the second salmon pizza they've crowed about.  Yuck.  Who wrote that recipe?  It says salmon and red pepper.  Red pepper isn't in the list of ingredients.  Then, they put flowers all over the cutting board.

That's how come I noticed it's a fake recipe, meant to mislead us.

There's no red peppers.

<<<not easily misled.

That's too Bohemian for a DUmmie's pallet.

Any single ingredient that costs less than $5 is considered gauche.

They have to make it themselves because they can't charge a $40 pizza on an EBT card.   :lmao:

And the crust is golden black.

Seriously, I looked at that and wanted to gag.  I also figured out the price of those ingredients would run you close to $20.

When the girl-child asks for pizza, and I want to go nuts, I get diced ham cubes, bacon bits or pancetta, crumbled sausage, and pepperoni, along with cheese, sauce, and dough.

I can make THREE OR FOUR very nice-size (16") pizzas for less than that, depending on how crazy I get with the toppings.

And 45 minutes on a pizza?  On what friggin planet, ya tard?  425 degrees for 14-16 minutes, TOPS!

See?  I said it's a tongue-in-cheek recipe; the primitives aren't really serious about it.

This.....and Pamela's enchiladas--one wonders what's next.  Perhaps a mushroom and peanut-butter soufle.

I have had fish tacos before. They were delicious naturally. Maybe the neckbeard can weigh in ?

I'm not neckbeard, but I can weigh in.  I would agree, if they're done right.

When I lived in CA, I loved both Rubio's and Wahoo's.

Mention fish tacos here and people think you're from Mars, but they think lobster rolls are the cat's ass.  WTF, over?

It's a fake recipe, but still includes "Trader Joe's" and a foreign name for the cheese to get some DUmp cred.

I'm surprised it didn't specify "Fresh Market" onion and "Costco" capers.

The DUches will take it to eating dog barf and cat turd pizza with moldy Camembert cheese to prove how sophisticated they are.

Isn't this a precursor to a banning ?
