A family is in shock and a community has united after an anonymous hate letter was written about a young boy living with severe autism.
Karla Begley told CityNews her son Max, 13, stays with his grandmother in the morning during the summer time. It was at that home in Newcastle where letter was delivered on Friday.
“I was shaking when I was reading it,†Brenda Millson, Max’s grandmother, told CityNews. “It’s awful words. You don’t know why somebody would ever do such a thing.â€

I can understand both sides of that.....but wind up only wanting to kick some ass on one side.

And people wonder why we isolate ourselves when we have a special needs child. I think we know lots of people are thinking this. That's our shallow view of life in this world now: the things that happen that are not preventable are a hindrance however people will willingly put up with bad behavior from people who are perfectly in control of their resources. As for what constitutes a normal noise: I really don't want to hear a dog that the owner can't bother to bring in bark incessantly or someone else's baby crying either but i consider that part and parcel of being a part of this thing we call humanity and living among other people. What a bitch.
That said if the grandmother is just putting him out there for hours to do as he will then it should be addressed however suggesting killing of a person in a ***** letter isn't exactly the most effective means to have a discussion on grandmas supervisory skills.

A devastating letter sent to the family of a boy with autism does not meet the threshold for a hate crime but police are considering other charges.
“Despite the hateful language used, the Crown Attorney’s office has advised that the content of the letter falls below the threshold for a hate crime. However, there are other Criminal Code issues that are being considered,†Durham Regional Police said in a statement Tuesday morning.
On Friday, Brenda Millson, the grandmother of 13-year-old Maxwell Begley, received a letter in the mail at her Newcastle home. The anonymous writer, who claims to live in the neighbourhood, complained about the noises the boy makes and wrote that the boy was a “hindrance to everyone.â€

Of course not: the family is probably melanin deficient and the autistic kid isn't a GLBTBLTWTFXYZPDQ.

The tolerant left institutes neighborhood letter writing campaigns. With just a little editing I can easily see that letter describing owebuma perfectly.
