Once upon a time there were three little pigs.
The first little pig collected straw by the side of the road.
The second little pig collected sticks from the forest.
The third little pig built a kiln and everyday got all sweating and muddy while forming and firing bricks.
One day there was an election. Th three little pigs had to choose between the big liberal pig and the big conservative pig. The big liberal pig promised that if elected he would take some of the bricks from the third little pig and give them to the first and second little pigs because he believed in fairness and equality. The big conservative pig promised that if elected he would build a wall to keep out the big bad wolf.
The first and second little pigs voted for the big liberal pig and only the third little pig voted for the big conservative pig. Once elected the big liberal pig took 40 percent of the third little pig's bricks and gave them to the first and second little pigs. They used the bricks to make cute little paths and flower beds for their gardens. They demanded more bricks, but the big liberal pig was afraid that if he took even more bricks from the third little pig, he would quit making bricks and then where would he get the bricks to give to the first and second little pigs? So, instead he borrowed money from the bank to get more bricks. The banker asked how he would be paid back. The big liberal pig said the baby piglets would have to pay it back when they grew up. The banker asked if this was fair. The big liberal pig said it didn't matter because the baby piglets were too young to vote.
The first little pig built a house out of straw. The big liberal pig did not think it was important to build a wall to keep the big bad wolf out so no wall was built. One day the big bad wolf walked along the pretty brick path to the first little pig's straw house and said, "Little pig, little pig, please let me in."
The first little pig said, "Not by the hair of my liberal chin."
The wolf said, "Then I'll huff, and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in." Which he did.
The first little pig was just barely able to get away and he went to stay with the second little pig.
The second little pig built a house out of sticks. One day the big bad wolf walked along the pretty brick path to the second pig's stick house and said, "Little pig, little pig, please let me in."
The second little pig said, "Not by the hair of my liberal chin."
The wolf said, "Then I'll huff, and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in." Which he did.
The first little pig and second little pig were just barely able to get away and they went to stay with the third little pig.
Now you might think that the third little pig built his house of bricks, but because he had to give 40 percent to the big liberal pig, the house was never finished. There was no wall to keep the big bad wolf out so with very little effort the big bad wolf climbed into the unfinished brick home and ate up the three little pigs.
