Island Grove Wine Company

I saw a piece in our local paper today about this winery, think I will go check it out next week....
Blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, apple and blackberry wines....mixed with a variety of different grapes.
See Florida does produce something besides criminals and lunatics.

And your point is?????

And those palmetto bugs. (Read cockroaches!)

Just two more of Florida's many attractions:
See Florida does produce something besides criminals and lunatics. Alligators and giant Burmese pythons, too!
Some pretty good cigars as well.

You know...I am trying to build up Florida's rep, O-) and you guys come in here and just sand bag me.... :hammer:
I was born and raised here, so were the gators and the (yuk) palmetto bugs. Most of the criminals, lunatics and giant Burmese pythons, are imports from up north. somewhere else. But we still get the bad rep for them...(DUmode on) Kicking and screaming....it's not fair...it's just not fair...(DUmode off)

Linda, we're just jokin' around with ya! But for my wife and me, your state is not our cup of tea.

I know you guys are joking. I like my state. Every state is different some good points and some bad about each and every one of them.
Just wanted to showcase a small business around my area, they recently got a contract to sell their wines to a few on the states "Sams" stores. I wish them much success in these hard economic times.

I've visited Florida a few times and had a blast (Key West, Sanibel Island, Pine Island). Here's another small business to highlight and it's owned by the "little" brother of my best friend -- if you ever go to Pine Island, you should stop in (it's in Saint James City):

Tell JD (Hollway) his neighbor from across the street in NJ says Hey!!

I don't usually get to that part of the state, but if I do I will certainly try your friends restaurant. My sister likes to vacation on Captiva Island so I will let her know about this restaurant too.

We love visiting Florida. Many friends and relatives and lots to do. We picked our retirement home in TX because it reminded us of the way Key West used to be.
