Harris deputy sues resident who called 911 for help

When a Katy woman called 911 last year seeking medical help for a relative who was hallucinating from a mind-altering substance, things went from bad to worse.
It turns out that paramedics who arrived at the home on Shiloh Mist on Dec. 30, 2012, needed some help of their own to handle the unruly patient, so a call went out to Harris County Sheriff's Deputy Brady Pullen to assist.
Moments later, Kemal Yazar, the patient, lay dead from the deputy's bullet, as Pullen bled from a broken nose and injuries to his face and head.
In a "unique" lawsuit filed in Harris County District Court, Pullen is seeking damages of up to $200,000 from the resident, Camina Figueroa, for failing to "adequately warn others that her resident or guest Kemal Yazar posed a violent threat to others."
Law enforcement officers deal with danger all the time. Brady Pullen should find a new line of work. :mental:
