5. Yes--because he said it was a cut in benefits. That is a lie. nt

6. It IS a cut in benefits.
Just got a notice from Medicare, saying certain diabetic products will not be covered any longer.
That is a direct cut in benefits.
An indirect cut in benefits is the number of medical providers who have decided to not accept Medicare
because the rate of pay is too low, a very obvious reaction to reductions in payments to providers.
Patient will have to pay out of pocket if they want to continue seeing their doctor.

Billy Jeff Klinton said that 0bama had saved Medicare by cutting 720 billion dollars. Somebody said that we should trying to save the rest of the government entitlements the same way......SILENCE.
Every old person that voted for 0bama also voted to end their lives sooner, in more pain, and misery. And also to pay more for that.

No, it's not, and the cuts are only going to continue. That's the whole thing with universal/single payer that you dolts refuse to acknowledge, or won't because it's not politically favorable to you. Once everyone is under one umbrella, then the gov't starts reducing benefits.
And this misanthrope dimwit claims to be a lawyer. If I ever get a divorce from my wife, I want msanthrope to be her attorney, because with that idiot looking out for her I'll walk away with everything.

Dear Lurkers,
Once the GOP steals the next couple of elections and we defund ObamaCoup do you expect us to restore the $720BN to Medicare?
:fuelfire:

Obama cut Medicare by cutting the amount of money doctors would be paid for their services. Now you have doctors dropping Medicare patients and/or refusing to accept any new patients. I guess that doctors would fall under the category of "other providers".
-
The cuts to Medicare will go to fund Medicaid. In other words, those that paid into the system will get scr@wed while the ones that paid nothing get an added benefit. This is just robbing Peter to pay Paul. The so called cuts are revenue neutral.

Doctors don't get that much for their services under medicare and the paperwork is a pain. My doctor has had a sign on her counter for years, refusing to take medicare.
Obama has moved about five different provisions in Obamacare until after next years election.
Might hurt his party too much if people really get to live this disaster.

Unlike you DUmmies, we didn't have to have the cACA bill passed "to find out what's in it."
We knew it was a turd from the start.
And no matter how much Barry and Company try to perfume and polish it, in the end...
...IT'S STILL A TURD!!!

10. Just an example
On October 1, 2011 the Obama administration slashed Medicare RUGs (how skilled nursing units get paid for delivering post-hospital rehabilitative care) by an average of 19%. What do we think the immediate actions were by people that run these places? Suck up the loss? No, cut staffing and other expenses they can control.
I am for universal healthcare but let's not act like these cuts are not going to have some impact on care under the current model of healthcare delivery in the US.
Bunnahabhain is still all for it even though he knows how bad it's going to suck. Coo coo.

A lot of mail order diabetic testing supply companies are no longer providers for Medicare starting in October.

So public healthcare leads to rationing of treatment? Gosh, who would have imagined such a thing...

My doc refuses to take medicaid patients. He says he is paid even less than medicare and the medicaid patients don't show up half the time and when they do they want drugs. He said the medicare patients show up and at least try to take care of themselves.

But a whole bunch of what is cut from Medicare will be diverted into wages and increased costs of agencies rather than benefit any recipient of Medicaid.

A, ditziegrrll -- you forget your own liberal perspective so quickly. To msandrog, this is an INDIRECT cut because it is not a cut in his/her/its benefits! Any cut to YOU is merely indirect...

Similar to 'collateral damage.' "So sad that you got whacked--can I have your food?"
