Just a brief OP to remind us how they view money.

Someone tell me this about teabaggers
In this wonderful thread:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/10023444714
(it's about a teabagger distributing the names of people who both vote and receive disability payments)
we find the oft-quoted, incorrectly-attributed-to-Ben-Franklin quote about democracies surviving until The People learn they can vote themselves money from the public treasury.
Assuming that this is true, and assuming that asking the government for money is a bad thing, howcum teabaggers invariably vote for the candidate who promises the biggest tax cuts?

DUmmies believe that being allowed to keep what you owned to begin with is the same as "vote themselves money from the public treasury."
There is no reasoning with a mindset like this, it just has to be defeated. Unfortunately, we have allowed Dims to purchase themselves an ever-growing voting block of societal parasites.

Oh, you mean blacks, latinos and hippies.

That, plus a mixed bag of the lazy and shiftless of all backgrounds.

This is why we call them DUmmies. They really are DUmb.

Comes from the time of the Roman empire......2,000 years or so ago.....so it's ancient wisdom but just as true today as it was then.

Doesn't matter who said it first, or even who said it all, it is very true.
Once the leftists found out they could simply vote themselves money, our democratic republic started to decay.

It really is...when you engage these cretins they truly are that stupid.

Just a brief OP to remind us how they view money.
That needs refined somewhat, sir.
Your money and my money are the government's money; the primitives' money, such as it is, is their money.

For a group that's always talking "civil rights", the concept of "property rights" evades them, even though this was one of the founding principals of this country.
Their guiding principle was that people come together to form governments in order to SECURE their rights to property - not to create an entity which wilt, itself, "take from the mouths of labor the bread it has earned." What was wrong for individual citizens to do to one another, they believed, was equally wrong for government to do to them.
-
Wow, that is a special type of stupid right there. :thatsright:
DUmmies, me keeping the money that my employer gives me does not constitute taking government money. You accepting money from the government for not working does. Do you see the difference?

And Celtic Rose hits it out of the ballpark for a grandslam!!!!! :cheersmate: :cheersmate: :cheersmate:
H5 for that CR!!!! You said it better than I could! :cheersmate: :cheersmate: :cheersmate:
As an aside CR... the dummies don't see it. They will never see it. The dummies are dependent on government for their upkeep so they view the government like a dog views it's human. Pretty sad that this great nation has come to this.

I'll give the DUchebags money at between .18-.33 dollars and 1200-1700FPS at a time. Come and get some.

And correctly so, retard. Read much?

How stupid can one possibly be?
Wait......

No, they don't and never will. For the helmet-children, what you earn belonged to the government to begin with.
These people need to be retroactively aborted, one 230gr. procedure at a time.

Yes, they are. Yesterday I spent an amusing hour batting about a horde of those same cretins at rawstory.com over an article about some talking head on Current TV making fun of Rush Limbaugh losing a few sponsors. The talking head was himself losing his job there and the whole channel is going under but I couldn't make them see the irony in his ragging on what is still the #1 talk radio show in the country.
Of course I was eventually banned and all my posts deleted as they celebrated "victory".
:lmao:

I went over to see if anyone corrected the OP.
It only got worse...if you can believe it:

that the less money they pay in taxes, the more money the government has to give to the rich. It's the Law of Depply and Sumand.
You heard it on DU, kids:
Nobody ever got rich unless working people had their taxes reduced the more money the government somehow gives to rich people.

2. The short answer: they are credulous idiots who can't think for themselves.
If only cognitive dissonance could be harvested as energy...
At least I know how basic economics work.

4. Tax-protest movement?
Wasn't the Tea "Party" named to show that it was supposedly a tax protest movement? Those who identify with the movement seem to take that idea seriously. They also seem to fail to think very far beyond "I shouldn't have to pay for that!" sort of reasoning. I read a response to a topic at... Daily Kos or someplace, where I'd ended up by following a link here on DU. I think the topic actually was about disability issues, but I don't remember the details. Umm. At any rate, one of the comments basically said, "My husband and I both work, and we are the parents of a disabled child. We haven't sought disability assistance for the child, as a matter of principle. Why should my family be expected to pay for strangers to receive assistance?" I think that comment may basically have summed up the 'Bagger stance in general, and I now wish I'd saved the link.

That makes no sense. Just keep making up crap and don't let the facts get in your way.

Because we tend to favor people that believe we should keep more of what we earn.
the more money the government has to give to the rich.
And that right there is why DUmmies will ALWAYS vote Dem. Theyve been completely brainwashed into thinking that whatever you're paid...what ever money you have is because that's what the Federal Government allows you to be paid....and that if you get a raise...somewhere someone gets a reduction in their check.
If the DUmmies would ever get off their ass and "earn" more than a welfare check...they'd understand how wrong their thinking is.
Sadly...

That needs refined somewhat, sir.
Your money and my money are the government's money; the primitives' money, such as it is, is their money.
The critical difference...and one which they (in the midst of their cognitive dissonance) don't notice.
-
If the government has all the money, why do they keep asking for mine?

Why waste the money, .17 WSM are much cheaper.
