There are a butt load ( :-) ) of threads on how bad Russia suddenly is, mostly I beleive because Putin is telling Barry, "**** You." cali, great DUmbass that she is, picks out one country where Homos are treated worse than in Russia... AND, it's not a Muslim country. You know, a Muslim country where they execute homos by slowly hanging them from cranes...

Russia isn't even close to being the most homophobic country.
It's not the country where it's most dangerous to be GLBT. It's the country that some want to portray that way for political reasons.
Yes, it sucks, but reading DU recently, you'd think that Russia is by leaps and bounds the worst country in which to be gay.
What's worse? Jamaica, for one. Right here in our own hemisphere.
In Jamaica it's illegal and punishable by jail time for men to have sex with other men.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) persons in Jamaica face legal and social issues not experienced by non-LGBT people. Sexual acts between men are punishable with up to ten years imprisonment. Sexual acts between women are legal.
Jamaica has been described by some human rights groups as the most homophobic place on Earth because of the high level of violent crime directed at LGBT people. The United States Department of State said that in 2012, "omophobia was widespread in the country". The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights in 2012 said that "discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression is widespread throughout Jamaica, and ... discrimination against those in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and intersex ... communities is entrenched in Jamaican State institutions. Those who are not heterosexual or cisgender face political and legal stigmatization, police violence, an inability to access the justice system, as well as intimidation, violence, and pressure in their homes and communities.":page: 95 Human Rights Watch said in 2012 that because of homophobia, "human rights defenders advocating the rights of LGBT people are not safe in Jamaica".

In fact, the Caribbean is worse than Russia when it comes to anti-GLBT laws.
There are 76 countries and several territories where homosexuality is illegal

Let's stop pretending that Russia is unique. Sadly, it is not.
DUmmies....always so close to getting things right...

I already read about that Cali......DUmbass little queer told his friends that he was going to his first straight party dressed as a woman.....it turned out to be his last.

What no response from the Malarial primitive?

Russia is certainly on their shit list as of late. Don't suppose it is because Putin recently gave O'bamby a couple of severe cock smackings.

Putin would knock Owhimpo's dick in the dirt.

Actually he'd have to talk to Moochelle to do that since she has it locked in a box along with Obumble's balls.

Cali sure is on a binge about Jamaica:

that might be it.
What no response from the Malarial primitive?
I wonder where malaise is too - she was rambling on about something yesterday at the DUmp.

Actually, many states in the US still have sodomy laws on the books that makes homo sex illegal.
They are just not currently enforcing them.
-
What bugs me is how they continue to misuse and abuse the word homophobia. Fear of homosexuals is not the same thing as violent crime being directed at homos or discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. :censored:
I can honestly say that there is no one that I know that is afraid of a homo.
-
The world's poorer nations like Jamaica may not have much, but they do understand the difference between right and wrong.
Only the elitist liberal nations define degenerate behavior as a human right.

Exactly. Heights, snakes, and democrat bureaucrats scare me.
Homos just give me the creeps.

Didn't read the OP or the threads. I'll say this though:
I have no problem with the homos and the lizzies if they would just live their lives quietly. I know some of them on both sides of the gender. Nice people. Some of them are good friends that I did not know were homos/lizzies until later. Not a one makes any problems. They just want to live their lives in peace. I ain't got any problem with it.
What I do have a problem is seeing them making out in public. Same as heteros. Don't force it on me, I'll live and let live. That and don't force gay marriage on society either. I have no problem with civil unions... marriage is a different story.

No can do.
Shortly after wallduding herself into permanent unemployment, DUmmy cali fell and shattered a leg while blind drunk.
She now creeps around in agony on a single hind leg, while in a constant oxycontin haze.
She has confirmed all the above in numerous DUmp posts.
If she went into the street, she'd be run over.

When I was a kid, our neighbors had a three legged dog. She scampered around pretty good. But then, she wasn't loaded on oxy.

Doesn't sound like a reason for her not to...

I don't know if GG is a mole or not, but when s/he tries to bring some sense into the argument, the gays go completely paranoid bats. Someone alerted and s/he got a post hidden.
But look at the freaking level of paranoia of these gays! Religious people are terrorists!

Russia Anti-Gay Bill Admired By Some U.S. Conservatives [View all]
Usual suspects - conservative Catholic and Evangelical organizations.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/01/russia-anti-gay-bill_n_3530050.html
"You admire some of the things they're doing in Russia against propaganda," said Austin Ruse, president of the U.S.-based Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute. "On the other hand, you know it would be impossible to do that here."
Ruse, whose institute is seeking accreditation at the United Nations, plans to travel to Russia this summer to meet with government officials and civic leaders.
"We want to let them know they do in fact have support among American NGOs (non-governmental organizations) on social issues," he said.
These bigots should not be allowed back into the United States - they are TERRORISTS.

6. Terrorists? Really?
When they have a drone, I'll worry.

8. Terrorism is not limited to physical attacks
It is mostly psychological in nature.
GiaGiovanni (1,227 posts)
18. Here is the FBI definition of terrorism:
http://www.fbi.gov/stats-services/publications/terrorism-2002-2005
Terrorism is defined in the Code of Federal Regulations as “the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives†(28 C.F.R. Section 0.85).
Violence and force are part of the definition.

19. To The FBI
Those of us that have been terrorized know better.
GiaGiovanni (1,227 posts)
20. You create terror by threats of physical violence
Has the Catholic League said they are going to beat you senseless?
gollygee (12,747 posts)
25. They've said they want people to be arrested
If they got their way and we did have similar laws, people would get arrested, which can create terror whether or not there is physical violence, although certainly people often suffer violence when they're arrested and incarcerated.

My sentiments exactly. :hi5: Especially, the last.
However, the radical gays have turned me from sympathetic to very un. If my gay acquaintances want to remain such, I have told them to be vocal in opposition. If not? See ya.
