I am feeling so very happy tonight...

Now, this is not in and of itself, remarkable. I am often happy.

But something happened today, that I made happen. And this was after a pretty good day...

Today, I saw a baby spider in my kitchen sink. I hated seeing it there, knowing that most likely it will drown and I won't be able to prevent it...

But I was determined to try and save the little life..........

So, I got a kleenex and whaddya know, the spider crawled onto it. And then I was able to take it outdoors and it crawled off onto a wall............

And away it went.

Too cool.

My God, this woman is nuts.

2. Aw, thank you, my dear snappyturtle!

That iddy biddy spider looked happy to get out of my kitchen!

I won't bother bringing over any more of the comments.....

I'm really not seeing anything there that a baseball bat to the side of her head wouldn't cure.

The only known photograph of Coach Lou Holtz's twin sister with her mouth mostly closed.

Was the spider's life at risk ? How do you "save" a spider's life whose life isn't at risk ?

Wow, she saved a baby spider. Good thing it wasn't still in the womb.

You're right, and because it's the only one--I know, because I surveyed the literally thousands of self-posted photographs of the CalPig primitive in the dossiers--that's why I put it up, so she wouldn't think we were mocking her with one of the other photographs.

<<<a nice guy, considerate of the feelings of the primitives.

If handy, I use a Kleenex too.....to smash the spider, wipe up the mess and throw it all in the trash.

If she had wanted to kill it, she would have stomped on it with those huge Frankenstein monster boots that she wears.

I'm reminded of how Pam Dawson, a supremely deserving DUmmy of the Year, took to calling the CalPig "C-Peg".  We need more DUmmies of Pam's caliber.

Peggy has no fear of spiders. She is a preserver of them.

The only known photograph of Coach Lou Holtz's twin sister with her mouth mostly closed.

that is a rare photo of her indeed - no mouth gaping open, no turtleneck. And she does look a lot like Lou Holtz in that picture.

Yeah I had the same thought. These are the sick people who will cry themselves to sleep over a dead spider, yet fight tooth and nail for the "right" to kill unborn humans in the womb.

You cannot convince me that is not a guy.

And then s/he wrote a poem about it:

The itsy, bitsy spider
Crawled up the waterspout.
Blink, blink.

There'd be some justice in that, especially if it happened right in front of her eyes.

Maybe she has already eaten.........

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly.
I dunno why she swallowed that fly,
Perhaps she'll die.

There was an old lady who swallowed a spider,
That wiggled and wiggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
But I dunno why she swallowed that fly -
Perhaps she'll die.

There was an old lady who swallowed a bird;
How absurd, to swallow a bird!
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wiggled and wiggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
But I dunno why she swallowed that fly -
Perhaps she'll die

There was an old lady who swallowed a cat.
Imagine that, she swallowed a cat.
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird ...
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wiggled and wiggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
But I dunno why she swallowed that fly
Perhaps she'll die

There was an old lady who swallowed a dog.
What a hog! To swallow a dog!
She swallowed the dog to catch the cat...
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird ...
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wiggled and wiggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
But I dunno why she swallowed that fly
Perhaps she'll die.

There was an old lady who swallowed a goat.
Just opened her throat and swallowed a goat!
She swallowed the goat to catch the dog ...
She swallowed the dog to catch the cat.
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird ...
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wiggled and wiggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
But I dunno why she swallowed that fly
Perhaps she'll die.

There was an old lady who swallowed a cow.
I don't know how she swallowed a cow!
She swallowed the cow to catch the goat...
She swallowed the goat to catch the dog...

There was an old lady who swallowed a horse -
She's dead, of course.
