How can this country go on with the CEO of MacDonalds earning $9 million per year?

Something has to happen. The problem is the Republican controlled House.
Obama spoke tonight on mininum wage.
C'mon Democrats we have to push!

Turns out the CEO of "MacDonald's" is a black man so this is a racist post.

12. I find it somewhat ironic that McDonald's is catching all this heat NOW that they have a black CEO
McDonald's have been paying the same wages since its inception, but now they have a new CEO and he happens to be African-American, all hell is breaking loose. Now all of a sudden, the McDonald's CEO is overpaid while the workers starve. And also, all of a sudden, their food is really bad for us and something must be done to stop them. Just very ironic...

7. The founding father's would not limit a man's success while living...
but believed in heavy taxes at death because they saw inherited fortunes nothing more than the development of a form of landed aristocracy.
So first, we should take the vast proportion of wealth that would be transferred at the end of a life. After all, it is living in a free system that allowed them to prosper. What is not used in their life should be returned to the system after they die.
Corporations should not be allowed to deduct from their taxes as expenses pay and compensation above 500% of the lowest paid worker in the company.
We should return to the tax rates paid in the 50's, and make sure that the loopholes are removed from the tax system.
Rather than set minimum wage at a specific level, set it for a percentage of of a CEO's pay.
Require companies to return a part of percentage of their profits as profit sharing to every employee. They all contributed to the success of a business. They should be fairly compensated.
Abolish all anti union laws and encourage the developments of unions in all businesses. IF McDonalds and Walmart had to deal fairly with all employees it would be different.
The founding fathers were for a death tax?

as rich as the CEO of Micky D's, Papa (Porta)John's, or any other fast food chain, I would have no problem boosting my employee's wages. I honestly don't get what their deal is. They are already filthy-rich. They can still easily afford life's essentials and have plenty of cash left over for a vacation or a rainy day if they were to give their employees raises. Why not be nicer to your workers for a change and make them have a higher opinion of you?
I guess that is just the silly far-left liberal Democrat in me talking, though.
Maybe when you grow up you can be a CEO. :rotf:

Now, I'm going to suggest a bunch of changes to the tax system that will have no effect on me personally, but will strip hard working citizens from their rightfully earned pay and maybe the gov't will allow some of it to trickle down from Washington, DC to me.
Fixed.

I notice that the DUmmies ignore the important word "earn".
Barely any of them earn anything, there's a few who sponge off wealthy relatives or have inherited money...and there's a vast flock who sponge of tax-payers.
The C.E.O. of McDonalds earns his pay.
-
What are they pissed off about? He probably pays $6 million in taxes on that, and they LOVE taxes.
-
A lib goyem meets a lib icon. But it's a lib icon that libs only pay lip service to, while undermining it.

How can country go on when the President spend 12 times that on one trip?

Good point, excellent point.

Ya know dummies... I really could not care less what someone else makes. I worry about me and what I make. The end.

Eighty cents an hour??? I don't think so, liar.

Yes, because wearing a paper hat is a profession to which we should all seek as an ultimate goal, DUmmies.
It's a STEP--not a destination. Try grasping that little tidbit, DUmmies.

For some DUmpmonkeys, that's as far as it goes. It's sad.

I still don't know why the care what anyone other than themselves make. I don't care what the guy who sits next to me makes and I surely don't care what the CEO of McDonald's makes.

A hell of a lot better than it will with a president that runs up $1TRILLION per year in deficits.

Personally I think it is due to their failure to be successful FlaGator. They think they are the smartest, bestest people on the internet but they just cannot seem to make a living with that piled higher and deeper degree in dumbassery studies so it must be someone else's fault!!!
Pretty sad if you ask me. If the dummies would only look in the mirror, they would find the source of all their problems... but they will not. So they must transfer that problem to someone who is more successful and blame it all on that person.
Sad. Even sadder still is that these losers can vote.
The formula for success is really easy... even for people that have no degree. Be the best at what you do and if you can't, then work harder and longer than everyone else... and never complain. Nobody likes a whiney ass. Works for all kinds of people in all kinds of fields. The dummies are the biggest bunch of losers I ever seen in my life.

I know that has been said before. It's always worthwhile to say it again.

Yeah, I don't know where they're getting that BS. Up until the first income tax was put through by a wartime government that was running out of dough when it became clear the Great North-South Show was going to run into multiple seasons, virtually all of Federal tax revenues were excise taxes and import duties. There was probably at least one of them who saw it the way the DUmmie does (Every generation and every revolution has its extremists, after all) but that sure as Hell wasn't the way the Nation actually ran.
-
DUmmies continually whining about CEO pay has nothing to do with economics and everything to do with envy.
-
That's only $264.70 per store.

That's only $264.70 per store.
But the libs would love to spread it around.

Scroll to the bottom of the pdf DUmmies. Do you really want to go back to those rates for everyone? Welfare Recipients would have to pay taxes on their "income" to.The minimum rate was 22.2% and that was on the first $2000 earned.

I think that welfare needs to be taxed. It's income ain't it? Have the lazy welfare pukes losing their EIC and then the raising taxes crowd in DC might start hearing about it.

But that's not fair. That would demean said welfare recipient, make them feel bad and stuff.

How do you know that their welfare wouldn't be raised to offset any loss of income from the tax ? Also, since that type of tax would overwhelmingly affect libs, what makes anyone think they would pay it ? Libs love taxes because they don't pay them.

We should return to the tax rates paid in the 50's, and make sure that the loopholes are removed from the tax system.
Good idea, we could start by eliminating the Earned Income Credit. In which a single parent with three children can work a entry level job and receive an $8000 tax refund after only paying in $900 for the year.

33,000 McD's world wide....14,000 in the us alone....assuming just 10 workers per location world wide working 40 hours per week.....using the CEO's 9 million dollar salary to give all the DUmmies an hourly raise comes to...wait for it.... roughly a whooping 1.35 cents per hour...or $0.0135.
Hope the DUmmies don't blow it all in one place..
