Yesterday my wife wanted to go to Amish Aces in Nappanee, IN, for their yearly festival.
Getting there was a bathed in blood hassle. The normal 2-hour trip took over 3.25 hours, with all the road construction, detours through nowhere, and poor signs for the detours.

We sat and listened to this band's 1-hour performance. GREAT BAND! (https://www.facebook.com/GrayHorseBand/app_2405167945)

Up north summers are construction season and I agree, the highway depts do a poor job of signing detours. But, sounds like the destination was worth the journey, the band sounds great.

Schade, the problem in that area is that there are very few roads that take you to Nappanee. The trip there was a nightmare. We just followed the GPS (shoulda done that in the first place) and took US 30 home. No problems.
It was fun walking down al the rows of vendors, and the band was a welcome respite for this old fart. :old:

Looks like a fun day! I would enjoy something like that.
It's hard to think about fall here in the Southwest. It cooled off a little for a few days, the high 90's but plenty more days of triple digits.
