No primitives at the bonfire yet, but it's nice to see some action in the automotive forum on Skins's island, even if only a slight stirring.

Toyota stops production of Tundra.

I have just read where Toyota is stopping production of their full size truck series, Tundra, due to lagging sales. Of course this is nothing new for the big three that have already scaled back production of most of their full size truck series to include trucks and SUVs. Being from Texas myself, I am finding an amusing side to all this. I can't imagine all the faux cowboys around here with their ostrich leather boots, belt buckle the size of a hubcap, and a hat that makes their ears stick out like a four door car, pulling up to one of the shit kicker bars in a RAV4 with a fart pipe. What will they do to look like a real cowboy now?

I dunno.

I've never seen real cowboys--and the cowboys here in Nebraska are more real than the cowboys down in Texas--ride around in fancy boots, oversized belts, and enormous hats.

I have however seen faux cowboys, such as the Bostonian Drunkard when he went down to Texas to meet the bitch in the ditch there.

And then of course there's the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive.....

Well, I'm a cowboy.

Of course, the only time I dress up like that is when I go to church or a chili contest.

However, even when I have on my fancy boots, there's always a little horse-jimly stuck to the bottoms.

Ahem.
