Title: TRAVEL
Post by: CG6468 on August 01, 2013, 08:29:00 AM
We've wanted to go to Alberta for quite a while, but were never able to get there. Maybe someday before I die. Banff, Lake Louise, Canadian Rockies, etc.

Been there twice, once in summer, once in winter.  I highly recommend it.

If we could afford it, it'd be great to take the Alaska Highway north from there.

Dreams.......

I have a friend that takes about a month every summer and rides his bike, he rode cross country and up the Alaska Hwy. He's been to Nova Scotia, Baja Peninsula... lucky guy.

We camped many years ago in Nova Scotia at Peggy's Cove. Absolutely wonderful experience! There were people there from Canada, France, England, Spain, Australia and Ireland. It was like the UN! We all sat around a campfire and my wife and I came to an agreement with everyone that we'd swap Jimmuh Carter for Pierre Trudeau!
