136. cops out here

Last time I told the on call dr.at the program I go to that I felt depressed, The cops Cuffed me when I told them not to,due to spine and neck injuries and pain, they had 4 patrol cars parked outside my house, 2 of them led me to the car.I could not sit in the car due to the excruciating pain of having my arms cuffed in back,I laid in the back cried in pain all the way to the ER,got put on the cardiac unit, during my wait for a psych bed,

On the cardiac unit the people there were so kind they blew my mind,I was there as they monitored my heart,Than I got sent to a horrible authoritarian psych unit, where two or more security guards always sat in the dayroom in uniforms, triggering to say the least.Needless to say I did not trust anyone there because they acted like control freaks.

I left after 2 days.I could not stand the bully staff or the mileu. They triggered me bad. I never ever will go to that hospital again.I will never trust the on call shrink. This is the 2nd time I have been frogmarched for depression. I am not violent, and made no threats either time.Cops are ****ing assholes to people with psych issues, sadly too many hospitals treat PTSD patients like shit too. I would have been better off staying on the cardiac unit the staff there were so very kind, there.

Er's tend to treat psych patients like dirt, and assume we are all addicts,so of course despite my neuropathy causing me pain from being cuffed I was not offered anything to stop pain, but they made sure they took my clothes tried to even strip off my boxers, they treated me like a criminal until I was on the cardiac unit.I was not told why I was sent to the cardiac unit either. That whole incident was terrible and I will not go through that again for asking for help.

But that's what happens when everybody is more scared of litigation more than scared of being without compassion. I have had enough shit in my life but the shit never stops.Gotta find a place to live, republicans have shredded the social safety net so nothing so far, is available.

I hate this society,I don't belong here, this country sucks. My life sucks and I don't know how to fix it myself,if I could I would have done it years ago.Ironically my psych issues are from what OTHER PEOPLE did to me for years.PTSD is not caused by brain chemistry or anything else ,but bad people & accidents & bad incidents, trauma in a bad cold callous world.

Do panthers wear clothes?

Please note, I'm definitely not encouraging U.G.P. to expose itself to the world...but surely it can't be grounds for complaint.

It must said something about not wanting to live anymore or words like it. Seems like it was tossed in the rubber room on a 72-hour psych hold to make sure the immediate urge to kill itself passed.

It's so unfair the do-gooders forced the end of lobotomies.  A little digging around with that ice pick and he/she would be right as rain.

I think it'd be funnier than Hell if the subway cat, who does in fact need to find a new home, ends up in a shelter run by the Assemblies of God, her bete noire for some peculiar irrational reason.

<<<not a member of the Assembly of God, but know some people who are, and they're perfectly fine people.

She's obsessed with a hatred of them; she refuses to understand they're trying to help her.

I think that's where the subway cat belongs; in a shelter run by people trying to help her.

What kind of bonus would you have to get for that? It would have to be in the seven figures for me and then I would subcontract it out.

I wasn't sure I even wanted to call this up and read it.  I guess I'm astonished every time I see a current post of hers.  Every time she seems so desperately angry with bottomless, unsolvable problems, that I just assume (hope) it will be the last post before the Great Beyond.

68. My point is what I posted. Since you're acting like you know more than anyone here, how's about

YOU tell us how you would have managed the situation. Be specific, now!

YOU clearly know more than the staff of that place, that initiated emergency procedures to INVOLUNTARY COMMIT this guy to a MENTAL HOSPITAL because they couldn't handle him anymore.

YOU clearly know more than the ambulance crew, that has experience in subduing violent patients to be transported to involuntary commitment in a mental hospital. The ambulance crew called the police--are you saying they had no right to do that? Surely they knew the police weren't coming with cookies and milk--the police were coming to do what THEY were unable to do--subdue a violent individual with a knife.

And YOU clearly know more than the police, who -- if they really wanted to use some of that git-er-done "excessive force"--would have just pulled out a gun and shot the guy with a cheap, simple bullet, and been justified in so doing because he was waving a butcher knife he'd taken out of his apartment kitchen.

So....I'm waiting for YOUR solution, which apparently, none of those "idiots" on the staff of this assisted living facility could come up with, and none of those "morons" on the ambulance crew could come up with, either.

And those "stupid" police--maybe they should have just kneecapped the guy with a bullet, hmmmm? Or sang him a song? Thrown a net over him, like in the cartoons?

I doubt this was the first time the staff of that facility had problems with this guy. They don't commit people unless they are a danger to themselves and others. And ambulance crews aren't without experience with combative patients either.

I'm waiting to hear your grand plan--maybe we can send it to that elderly housing facility, and to that ambulance crew, so they can do it YOUR way in future, because they must be pretty doggone thick if they had to call the cops, n'est pas?

How many times have we heard this same exact shit from UGP? She gets placed in a treatment facility, or gets assigned a new shrink or case worker, and right off she checks herself out or blows off those trying to help her because they're "authoritarian' or "sadistic" or "uncaring" and blah-blah-blah. The problem is, Subway Cat has zero insight into her own problems. She refuses to admit any problems she has might be aggravated by her own behavior and intransigence. And if her treatment and care plan isn't what she thinks is ideal, she alienates everyone and leaves. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. It's always someone else's fault.

Not only that, but it appears that much of which the subway cat steals from the public treasury is stuff in the state treasury of Maryland.

I wasn't aware Maryland had enough Republican state lawmakers to fill a closet.

Where does the crazy cat get PTSD?  Sounds more like paranoid schizophrenia.

Signs and symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia may include:
Auditory hallucinations, such as hearing voices
Delusions, such as believing a co-worker wants to poison you
Anxiety
Anger
Emotional distance
Violence
Argumentativeness
Self-important or condescending manner
Suicidal thoughts and behavior

Libs are so anti gun they shouldn't be supporting the use of the word trigger. Why are they disparaging The Roy Roger's horse anyway ? This word will be given some serious consideration for banning.

A trigger is a basic human right.

Subway Cat has been on DUmmy of the Year list more than once despite the fact she is not prolific as compared to other posters like Babylon Sister or Cha.

Maryland is the Detroit of the East when it comes to republicans.

Detroit hasn't had a republican within 50 years of the place, and Maryland is on the same pace.
MD had a good one in Roscoe Bartlett but he lost his seat due to redistricting.

When on rotation in school I was sent to Private institutions for the those that needed in house mental health.

Really scares me that most of the patients paying $300 a day + expenses would have benefited more from a nice one week vacation.   Most of the problems were just the cause of loneliness or stress of over responsibility's.

Like I said, it's not an expense, it's an investment!   :-)

I keep thinking of the Kennedy daughter that fell in love with a married man.

What to do with an adult child that insisted on following her heart ?  A love affair that would embarrass the family cause the Holy Roman Church  to Dam her.

Poor woman, never allowed to live her life as she wished, Oh yes she had all anyone could wish for in material gains, could go anywhere and live a free life until it came to decision on her own love life.

Nasty bit of control here in her family, Her mother Rose was never quite the same.  I can not imagine the  discussions that led to taking this robust woman in love to be taken against her will to places of the insane.

So she the daughter of an ambassador and  sister to the future president was shut up against her will to be experimented on.

The doctors were sure with a brain surgery she would see the era of her ways.  Now I understand why her mother Rose felt a need to go  to church every day, difficult to live when one has allowed a child to be destroyed.
