They think McDonalds etc., should pay them a living wage :whatever:
Fast-food workers in walkout to protest low wages (http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/07/29/fast-food-workers-plan-one-day-strike-for-monday/#ixzz2aTBpAbto)
Workers at the nation’s best known fast-food restaurants in seven cities across America are planning to walk off the job Monday to protest what they say are wages that are too low to live on. In a move orchestrated with the help of powerful labor unions and clergy groups, the workers plan to strike for a day to demand their wages be doubled.

In this economy such a gambit is very risky.

People that think they deserve $15/hr for flipping burgers aren't smart enough to do anything else but flip burgers.

If I owned a McDonalds I would have been interviewing new workers all day long whether they walked or not. I would have either hired some or had some good leads in case ...

What a bunch of losers!! Everything is premade, prepackaged, microwaves and deep fryers are preset. I have worked at McDonalds, it doesn't take rocket science. Yes, I am sure there are a lot of obnoxious customers. Walmart cashiers don't deserve $15.00 an hour either, for that matter....

Neil Cavuto interviewed two of them today on his show. They said they were "owed". One girl who had children said she couldn't live on what McDonald's paid her. :whatever:

Fast food places have high turn over rates, so point in paying them high wages.

I wonder how that turned out? I didn't hear a thing in the paper/tv/radio/internet.

Just fire all the strikers; they did not show up for work.
Hire new employees while the fired ones are on strike. Further problems? Close up shop so no one has any job.
