America Is on a Path to Turn into Detroit, and Republicans Are Cool with That
Thanks to the record-breaking inaction and gridlock in Washington, the entire country is following in the path of Detroit.
Over the weekend, CBS’ Bob Schieffer asked Speaker of the House John Boehner very bluntly about the current gridlock in Congress, its failure to pass any important legislation and its record-low approval ratings among the American people.
Boehner responded by saying that, “We should not be judged by how many new laws we create, we ought to be judged on how many laws we repeal.â€
In other words, “Laws are bad and government is bad, so who needs either.â€

I love how they always blame the failure of leftist policies on the right.
What exactly hasn't 0bama gotten that he wanted? He got his horrendous health care bill, he got tax hikes, his EPA is making energy prices necessarily skyrocket. All the "gridlock" has done is slow the damage down a little bit. Then 0bama just bypasses congress anyway and implements whatever the hell he wants.

Since when were Republicans cool with implementing socialism across the U.S.?

Why cherished liberal policy ________ did not work:
* The GOP demanded compromise during the bill's debate.
* The GOP didn't adequately fund the law.
* The GOP slowed the law's implementation
* The GOP wasted time and money challenging the law in court
* The GOP bad-mouthed the law turning public opinion against it
* The GOP policies in other places undermined the law's effect
* The GOP thought of this law first
* The GOP disenfranchised voters who would have elected good liberals to pass the law
* The GOP is lying! The law is really awesome!
* Schultz/Maddow/O'Donnell/Sharpton/Olbermann/Matthews/Hayes/Hall/Bashir/Cenk/Mitchell said the GOP are bad

Gridlock, you mean like Harry Reid refusing to even allow debate on a budget bill?

Which means it's the Democrats that are actually doing it, while you're blaming the Republicans for being unable to stop them.
Leftist thinking. Go figure.

I'm not really "cool with that," but OTOH watching your own liberal policies blow up in your face isn't something I'm going to rush right into to try and fix. It's time to sit back and let Dems and libs feel the full brunt of what they caused. If Detroit is that example for them to observe and have an opportunity from which to learn, so be it.
