Filled with hate, posters who call names, vote in juries based not on whether something is crude or personal attack but whether they agree with the poster's opinion on the topic...
it's all gotten to be too much. I'm sure HiPoint, Nadinbrezinski and others will be happy. This was their goal, after all. To get rid of those who (gasp) dare to disagree or point out a (gasp) fact.
Only those who march to the same drum and don't look to the sides are allowed here. I'm a factual, logical, somewhat moderate person. I've been called a rightwing troll (by HiPoint....and yes, the jurors ssaid that was just fine!)....I was just told I sucked (and yes, the jurors thought that was just fine! but my post responding tongue in cheek that he's Dain Bramage (his handle)...that HAD to be hidden because, as one poster said, they don't like my viewpoints).
So buh-bye. All that will be left here will be people who like cat pictures (that includes me), and those who cannot, dare not, disagree with the most extreme positions represented.
I'm sure you'll be happy. Glad I could finally make you happy! I will find a forum where the posters are a little more level headed and information based.

I'm actually sorry to see this guy go. His posts about the Zimmerman trial were rational, and he seemed to have some legal knowledge based on experience.

Rationality is not welcome at the Hive, it gets in the way of magical thinking. What is considered trolling and "freeperish" at DU is what in the rest of the civilized world we call "critical thinking".
