12. Here's what women in these states need to do.
When it's time for the ultrasound or transvaginal snooping device or whatever, go to the appointment acting like anybody else.
Then, when they show the image of the fetus, the woman should scream hysterically, "Oh my God, what is that thing! Get it out of me!! GET IT THE **** OUT OF ME!!" Then run crying out of the office.
The reason laws like this are passed is that these fundies think seeing the fetus will make women decide against abortions. If women make fundies think that seeing the fetus will INCREASE the likelihood of a woman having an abortion because she's frightened by the sight of the fetus...they would have to rethink that particular tactic.
(This would be an especially awesome tactic at those fundie "crisis centers", where they pressure women into not getting an abortion until it's too late. Imagine the stress of going to work each day, not knowing if you're going to be dealing with a frightened, hysterical woman!)
I know it wouldn't stop anti-abortionists, but it would at least make them ditch the part about making women pay the additional expense of viewing the fetus.

Hey morons, one of the few true ways to confirm pregnancy is to visually see the fetus on ultrasound. The HCG (pee on a stick test) is only a probable indicator (the other two are fetal heartbeat and movement). So why are you advocating a woman undergo a needless procedure if she is not truly pregnant? You guys must really hate women.

I think the part that truly betrays their hypocrisy -- especially in light of the Kermit Gosnell slaughterhouse -- is the fact they reject requiring their priests of Molech have admitting privileges in case the patient needs follow-on care. If the mother is over-sedated or accidentally punctured or develops an infection then you would think they would want her attended to as quickly. Apparently "safe" abortion is just a buzzword.

These ultrasound gizmo's are fantastic.
1970 when I was advised to have an abortion on medical grounds for my kidneys failing, my kidneys were ex rayed. My son is alive and an Army vet. because of one ex ray tech that was very young and came to me with the films. She had never ex rayed a pregnant woman before and was excited at what the film had caught.
Me I had no idea what was growing inside me, could have been a rabbit for all I knew.
Here it was, a full face of a human in there, we could even see the teeth buds growing. I was 5 months pregnant.
A good knock on the head, this was no lump of cells this was a person as I had been at one time. Turned my life around that ex ray, no way was I to abort for any reason. So I had to fight husband and both sides of the family to protect my baby.
Son was born 6 weeks early, one heck of a fighter, took after me, and calls me every week to say I love You.----40 years later.
