Anyone trying to remain objective in the Zimmerman trial is a dirty no-good bigot, racist, and eater of Paula Deen butter cakes:

I doubt Zimmermans supporters here on DU have the guts to do such a thing.
Oh they may hop on this thread and color thier support with a buch of fair trial comments... but not one of them will come in to say he should be aquited.

And secondly, what's wrong with wanting to see justice done, no matter what the outcome? Are we supposed to pick sides based on nothing more than a persons race?
That's not the way to move towards a post racial society.

Yep, this is a simple case of "you either agree Zimmerman is guilty or you aren't a real liberal/progressive/Democrat" which, I have to admit, isn't all that surprising of a stance to take on the island of lockstep toys.

Honestly if the evidence eventually shows without reasonable doubt that he indeed committed murder then I would be the first to say throw the book at him. But that is not the way the evidence seems to be pointing.

Quite the opposite, actually (of the bolded). The one neighbor that was the eyewitness pretty much did a 'ground and pound' on the prosecution's case today.
