People believe their phone calls are being listened to...

That is misinformation...

Congress critter on the TV with tweety.

No you idiot, we get it...calls, metadata, are being stored and they can go back later and look at the contents.

Oh the spinning is amazing.

1. they can't go back and look at the contents.

There is no content, there are phone numbers from and to, duration of call.

If the FBI requests the metadata on a particular number, that is all they get. NO ****ING CONTENT as there is None.

How they got that number could be a variety of ways that could include regular old legwork.

Once they get the number, they can collect content by wiretapping that particular number. They can't go to the past and collect, they can only collect content after they have the phone numbers.

lordy. my spinning eyes must look really amazing.

New campfire, just lit; worth watching for further developments.

That may be true true for audio phone calls, but it isn't true for text messages , emails and other internet postings.

Just think if the Crown Office of Investigations had managed to gather all that metadata they might have managed to ferret out those pesky American terrorists in Boston before they did something really awful and started a revolution or something.

So called 'metadata' -particularly from a cellphone- is more than enough to know exactly where you are going, what you are doing, and with whom. The actual voice conversation isn't really necessary.

Do they really need all this today ?   Just go on Face Book to find who is connected to whom.

8. That is what many people have been saying for days now

and the President confirmed it last night.

Oh, Ok. That clears it up.  :whatever:

Hey, remember when the DUmbasses were all up in arms, handing out peach mints and all that BS, about Bush wiretapping potential terrorists?

Funny, fast forward to today, and they now have no problem with Obama wiretapping average American people.

Sorry, I don't buy this metadata bullshit. I think it's much, much deeper than that. His gang just admitted to targeting conservative groups. I'm supposed to trust that jackass? DUmmies would follow Stalin if he were still living and running as a Dim....which is the party he'd be affiliated with.

With the other programs and capabilities of the NSA to spy on anyone ,just how hard is it to get anything on anyone? Not very hard at all.

So the libs will scream and shout until NSA is crippled.

Then when the muzzies blow up the Rose Bowl or Yankee Stadium or the White House, who will they blame? NSA.

I can imagine code-breakers throughout all of the alphabet agencies are reading nadin's garbled bullshit and trying to figure out what code she is using and what she is saying.

Her trick is that she doesn't even know what the hell she's saying. It takes a big container to hold that much stupid. Maybe that's the reason for her size instead of a disease.
