This will give you chills. It’s evidence that when Guillory announced his party switch at the @large conference 2 1/2 weeks ago he wasn’t kidding about being a Frederick Douglass Republican. And it’s evidence that Guillory is willing to do more than call himself a Republican but to actually get his hands dirty and fight to open the black community to a conservative message.

We haven’t had this high a profile black conservative leader in Louisiana. Not in a long time. It’s going to be interesting to see how far Guillory can move the needle.

This is the only way blacks will free themselves from the morass that they currently inhabit.  Not just allegiance to a different political party, but self determination to make their own lives better.

This is the only way blacks will free themselves from the morass that they currently inhabit.  Not just allegiance to a different political party, but self determination to make their own lives better.

In my experience, I've seen countless examples of people -- irrespective of race, color, origin -- who simply are used to the idea that government has all the answers.

In short, the proglodytes have been very, very successful in creating entire generations of people who don't know that they really will do better for themselves when THEY take accountability and THEY take initiative and THEY take control of their own lives.

It's disgusting and shameful to see people I know and love allow themselves to be hoodwinked into thinking that government has the answer to their problems. *smh*
