Oh my.

The pie-and-jam primitive's guardians--her children and grandchildren--who don't like her posting on the internet because it makes her look bad, must be working second shift today, leaving addled-pated grasswire unbabysat.

3. au contraire

It appears to me that those who defend our constitutional protections and especially the rule of law and rules of due process and evidence and our concept of equal justice under the law are calm, cool, and collected.

It is the ones with the torches and nooses who are highly, highly excited.

Like these pukes know a damn thing about the Constitution. The Constitution is only valuable to them when they want to crap on our rights, they're all for spying on their enemies.

They see nothing wrong with eavesdropping on the Tea Party. If the subject is tryin' to make conservatives look bad, they will lead the way. Constitution be damned. It's like "the Bummer" said, it constricts what the government can do.

Exactly!

The left derives its sense of moral authority from the supposition that its intentions are altruistic and its opponents' are selfish. That sense of moral superiority makes it easy to justify immoral behavior, like slandering critics of Dear Leader as racist or using the power of the Internal Revenue Service to suppress them. They've convinced themselves that the ends justify the means, therefore to target and harass conservative groups is just doing their patriotic duty.

During the twentieth century, tens of millions of individuals were killed under despotic regimes that rose to power through appeals to altruism. An understanding that altruism can produce great evil as well as good is crucial to the defense of human freedom and dignity. Liberals aren't altruistic, they're pathological tyrants.
